I hear Mark Hudspeth is still looking for a job Bulldogs. Go get him Cohen. Tough, blue collar, and mediocre. Perfect fit.

Hud took Austin Peay from 5-6 to the final 8 in the FCS playoffs in his first year there. Austin Peay's first time ever to make the playoffs. Hud also won 9 games each of his first 3 seasons at ULL, again, a first for ULL. I'd like State to hire Hud.

100% knee jerk reaction based purely on the press and publicity OM/Kiffin is getting

“If it can work for them cheatin Bears, then it’ll work for us. Dur hur”

I know the exact reason he declined and there is not much msu can do about it. First he sees what if he does not do well they only give him 2 years, 2nd msu talked up a cheap offer to Napier with not many years so no security in that one. He good right where he is, not alot of heavy competition in his conference and they love him at his university. He just signed a big contract a couple weeks ago as well. MSU u gotta pony up some big cash if u want the coach with good ideas

Oh shite. I assumed him being in the bag was the only possible reason they fired Moorehead

He might be pissed they couldn’t wait a couple of days until after his bowl game so he wouldn’t have to deal with the distraction.

Handshake deals work both ways. Moo St didn’t live up to their end of the deal.

Like I said, a school like State can’t go around firing coaches after two years. Nobody is gonna go to fricking Starkville with shitty job security and unrealistic expectations.

bullshite. It was a dumb reaction to Lane Kiffin's hiring. MSU played itself.

No good coach who has options is going to take a job that fires coaches after two seasons. It's bad enough that it's tough to recruit there, but you're also going up against programs that historically out-recruit you.

Unless they hire Fritz or Aranda, this is going to be a disastrous hire. Maybe even worse than Arkansas.

In fairness, State nuked the program hiring Morehead. This is fallout.

It's starting to look a lot like the adults in the room couldn't manage their own egos and have rushed into a remarkably stupid decision.

Dear lord, this could drop past Arkansas into Tennessee coach search territory!

Great entertainment whilst waiting for the Championship game. Much appreciated.

They keep saying "Arkansas" the hire even though they know we hired a badass staff.

If they cant afford it, sure. For schools like A&M, this is a drop in the bucket.
