Glad to see there are at least 3 of us still around!
Understand, I started in 1978 but ran out of money with 1 semester left & had to work for a couple of years to save enough to go back & finish.

Glad you survived your car crash, as many times as I was DUI during college I should have been hauled over more times than I can count, but somehow never was & never had a crash.
December graduation for me.

Crammed my 4-yr. curriculum into 5-1/2 years & damn proud of it.

Your screen name reminds me of the Tigress dance team that performed at the MBB games. Deaf Dome was a treat during the 1980 & 1981 seasons.
As if Texass, Bammer, UGA, OU, Gaytors, Aub, UThug, etc. are just going to quit trying to also make the playoffs.

Top half of SEC will be extremely competitive & can’t expect to be top 3 every season.

Damn, I was right there with you in the Class of 1985. May or December for you?
Man hasn’t held a practice yet & you’re already thinking about a bust scenario.

Regret that I have but 1 downvote to give.

ETA: Where TF do you people come from?

If weather is good, you should take a walking tour of the Quadrangle & Parade Grounds. One of the most beautiful campuses anywhere.
Could only afford listening in the kitchen with my Dad on WWL 870.

Got to LSU in 1978 & watched every home game in person.

Did get to Jackson one of those years for the OM game. Hate for LSU from that fanbase was rabid then, will only intensify over the next few decades.

Crazy that Jackson in some years, they played a doubleheader with Bammer/State College in the other game.
Also there for every home game in the student section, lady. Brought a flask of bourbon to each one as no one at the gates seemed to care.

The USC game noise still rings in my ears…
More impressive to me is the SEC Billion Dollar Brand Club with 7 members & 2 more on the cusp.
7 billion-dollar brands in the SEC, impressive.
Don’t know much do you?

Let’s see if we can dumb it down enough:

-Endownments are assets related to academics, not athletics. Neither LSU nor any other university I’m aware of spends one dollar of endowments on athletics.
-Athletics at LSU are 100% funded by boosters & fans, excluding students. Many of these donors are successful business people & able to donate significantly to support LSU sports, with large numbers of TAF members contributing as well.

Merlins is the one they should have kept.
The generational hate from the Hotty Toddies just got extended for at least 1-2 more generations.
Only eaTme fans would understand what a 3 or 4-star program even means after decades of mediocrity.

5-star rating, 3-star performance.

Ask yourself when was the last time LSU had a star receiver over 6’ tall.

Would like to see more WRs in the mold of Michael Clayton, Dwayne Bowe, Brandon LaFell, JJeff, TMarshall, BTJ etc. instead of The Smurfs.
