Guy was known as “Blade” for a reason—was a wrecking ball between the white lines & apparently off the field as well.
He was unsung in 2001 but well-known in 2003.

Matt Mauck in 2001 SECCG before the 2003 NC.

Also, Travis “I play for the name on my helmet not the name on my jersey” Daniels. Burned his redshirt in that 2001 SECCG to help the team win.
Congrats on the self-awareness award.

LSU was gifted by Skanky & the SEC mafia in the 1st 9-game conference schedule an unbalanced schedule this year: 5 road games, 4 home games.

Meanwhile, others schools get 5 home games & 4 schools get an annual neutral site game meaning they NEVER have a 5-road game SEC schedule.

Three or more losses in the 1st season for CLK won’t shock me.
It’s we’re, genius.

Tell me you are a USC grad without telling me.
Says someone from that academic powerhouse South Cackalacky.
More of us than you think.

ETA: BSME ‘85 for me.
Take a look at the 9-game SEC schedule with 5 road games & re-think.

In an Irish pub in Santa Monica, CA on business with some pals watching with a sh*toad of other Tiger alums.

Yes, there was CA talent in the pub also.

Glorious.

State College was my 2nd choice for an engineering career, but the 4 hr. drive each way to Starkvegas & being in a dry county like I grew up in were too much to overcome.

Had a mini fridge in my LSU dorm room with cheap beer whenever I wanted—glorious.

At least we both were smart enough to stay out of Oxford!

ETA: being from Jena, you probably spent sone quality time at Natchez Under the Hill like I did, pretty easy drive for me from Amite Coubty.
Your story hits close to home, only I was able to get to & through LSU from a poor little MS town by the grace of God & student loans, grants, partial scholarship & working my a** off in summers to pay for it all.

Wouldn’t have had it any other way.

One more thing…Geaux to Hell OM!
Kid made some nice plays in the Duke game against the eventual ACC champs.

Not SEC competition but within striking distance. I’m impressed.

Damn straight, we could give Flood the Zone a whole new meaning!
So a QB from…Elon…who is on a visit to…LSU…needs to be advised of interest in another player…who just happens to be the No. 1 rated portal QB?

Riiiiight…
