How shitty is your program when the coach at ULL turns you down?

Did you watch any ULL games this year?

I try to catch a few every year, they were leagues better than normal.

Actually Billy Napier hasn't declined anything concerning the MSU job. Everyone in this thread has taken this news as valid and have been hoodwinked.

Ahh, so you’re gonna go down with the ship like Arkansas fans

That's what happens when you fire your 2nd winningest coach of the last 5 decades in just 2 years

Napier isn't doing shite, at least not publicly, until his bowl game is out of the way. I feel pretty confident about him if he's still our first choice after Monday. We are interviewing Joe Judge Monday, who also has an interview with the Giants that day. He's an MSU guy which has some intrigue for the program, but he's never been a HC.

Any talk or mention of Chris Klieman from KState? I know the dude's buyout is probably high but he is proven.

LMAO. That would be a huge downgrade. The hell is wrong with some of you guys? Mississippi State is the 13th best job in the SEC.

K State? Minnesota? Better than MSU as a program. Other than ancient history, you have nothing to argue. The local talent, the fan passion and recent NFL success make your claim ignorant.

Wow! So the head coach is fired? I said before They will not find anyone better since MSU is in a huge disadvantage right now. Who will come to MSU and take all the beatings since there is little to no chance any other head coach will be able to set up a good coaching staff and compete with the others that had a jump start to get the coaching staff in placed and then on top of that got to deal with the top 4 right now that is super strong from top recruiting class and is still strong with the current coaching staff. That is why Missouri got lucky at the right time to get Drinkwitz and is just about done hiring all the coaching staff. Also Missouri is in the East division. There will be a big battle for recruits and then get ready for war on the field this fall!

Aw man...you are way overthinking all of this. MSU may not be great next season but will be more competitive. Moorhead's system was a lemon in the SEC.

Easily much better programs in more desirable areas to live. Nationally when people think of Mississippi State, they lump you guys in with schools like Oregon State, Washington State, Maryland, Northwestern, Syracuse, Wake Forest, etc.

Not the point! Need to get the coaching staff in placed but it is getting harder to do that when most have filled up theirs and I have no idea if coaches would want to change job at the last minute. That is why Missouri, Ole Miss, and Arkansas got things done and now can start recruiting for the final time. If State can pulled a good hired and get a good coaching staff this late that would be huge!

People that aren't sure what they're talking about.

Easily much better? You aren't making any sense. We are talking football programs. Not big towns vs small towns, as if there is a correlation on football program success.

What is so different about Northwestern, Oregon St, and Minnesota or K State? Those are all grouped in the same tier as football programs. They are all very similar jobs for prospective coaches, regardless of the different locations.

There's still time to do those things. MSU's class is practically full already, unlike Arkansas, Ole Miss. I haven't looked at Mizzou.

Some of yall acting nervous that State will actually get a good coach, cause you know if we kept Moorhead, Vanderbilt would probably be running over us eventually.
