Eli gets the nod because of the Super Bowls but I would actually say Patrick Willis for Ole Miss

I just looked up Y.A. Tittle stats during his 17 year career. He won numerous awards and was a pro bowl selection a bunch of times etc.

BUT , this is was got me. TD-INT 212–221

Only 2 NFL HoF members. Lomas Brown and Jevan Kearse are the only players in the same ballpark, both a tier below.

Lomas Brown was an awesome lineman and had an exceptionally long NFL career if I remember right.

I would put DD Lewis and Kent Hull ahead of Fletcher Cox.
Fletcher is tremendous but he is still playing so it is kind of hard to judge him historically.

Agree, Jimmy Taylor or YA Tittle for LSU old school

Patrick Peterson in a couple years would be in the discussion with Kevin Mawae also out there

Should be Kevin Greene for Auburn.

I still say Bo or Cam, but KG would be a great choice. HOF'er

John Hannah and Don Hutson could easily be Alabama's entry. Dwight Stephenson was on his way before his career got ended early.

(Wasn't Kellen Winslow, Sr a Mizzou Tiger?)

Could you argue the best Aggie at his position is Lechler? Just tossing it out there.

Cam should be Auburn’s, not Bo Jackson

Idk why this got so many downvotes. Bo was amazing while he was in the NFL, but his career was short there that I don't think it should be him. Kevin Greene and Cam should both be ahead of Bo as far as NFL careers IMO

I would say Trent Richardson’s career would be a better example of shite. McFadden lasted for like 10 years in the NFL and had a 1,000 yard season his next to last year. He had a few really good seasons with the Raiders cut short because he kept getting hurt.

It was definitely underwhelming though.

Both careers sucked

That was football before the 70s

Look at Joe Namath, he’s the same

No one knew how to throw the ball

Because his NFL career wasn’t that great?

Fran Tarkenton is in the hall of fame

idk but Miss State definitely had a better player than Fletcher Cox

Darius Slay and Chris Jones are the only active players somewhat close to Fletcher Cox. Unless Simmons or Sweat surpass his accomplishments in the NFL, then I totally disagree. The dude is on pace for a hall of fame career.

I know some younger Tennessee fans might think Manning is their best nfl player ever but Reggie White was unstoppable for the majority of his time in Knoxville and the pros. For Bama yes Derrick Thomas is the best NFL player Bama has ever produced. Pretty solid list imho.
