You can also argue John Abraham but Sharpe is a good choice.

I've never heard of this person in my life. Didn't Kellen Winslow sr go to missouri?

Atwater > Alworth imo.
Doug Atkins and PEYTON have an argument over Reggie, hard to argue with him though

I agree with you. I actually expected them to pick Peyton, but I saw Reggie White play live (Eagles at Cowboys, Thanksgiving-1989). He was dominant.

tGOAT
27 sacks in a season. Unbelievable.
John Hannah would be the only other contender for Alabama IMO.

Wehrli was better then Winslow, here is a short bio via wiki
"Roger Russell Wehrli He was a seven-time Pro Bowler after playing college football at the University of Missouri, where he was a consensus All-American and a first-round draft choice by the Cardinals in 1969. He was inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007."
Also noted as the guy who lead to the term "shutdown corner" in the NFL.

Cam should be Auburn’s, not Bo Jackson

Not sure I would put him over Art Still, Randall Cobb, Babe Parilli or Tim Couch (based on his College Productivity).

1980s kids remember watching Reggie White. I, for one, am glad the author didn't list Manning for Tennessee, like every other list does. Reggie was a legend.

Actually, for Arkansas, I would argue Jason Peters. He was one of the top OT's in the league for years.

Alabama - I can't argue too much against Derrick Thomas because he is one of my favorite players of all time. However most lists I've seen have John Hannah, Bart Starr and Don Hutson as the best NFL players from Alabama.
Auburn - Bo Jackson is obviously a great talent and athlete, but his NFL career was cut too short for me to go with him as Auburn's best NFL player. I'd go with Kevin Greene from Auburn.

Yes with Thomas. John Hannah could be argued because he was dubbed the GOAT lineman for a while. Thomas had double digit sacks his first four years in the NFL - including 20 in his second year - and still holds an NFL record for most sacks (7) in one game.

Cam is an NFL MVP. There’s no comparison

I’d still say Bo, but that’s acceptable. He was a beast.

Champ is a good pick for UGA.
Fran Tarkenton has an argument as well (held many NFL QB records until Dan Marino and Michael Vick).
If the claim was ProFootball and not NFL, then Herschel Walker would also have a substantial argument.

tough to disagree with any of those, although I have no idea who the great NFL players from Missouri are to take an educated stance on that pick
