Schedules and past performance would put Bama over Auburn...

Auburn has USC and UGA (Two best teams in the East) Bama has. Florida and UT,

Also Auburn traveling to Bama.

It's not far fetched at all to have Bama over Auburn.

I agree. Their OLine returning plus NM at QB makes them tough to beat. If their secondary just doesn't kill them, look out.*

* always tougher to be the hunted than hunter, play at BDS this season, yadda yadda yadda.

I would say they factor in preseason SOS... AU has a tougher road according to the preseason schedules...

If I ever listened to Finebaum I would now... They will go full gump over that statement... Proud to say i will never give that guy a second of my time though.

I agree that AU should be the favorite to win the SEC, which would put them ranked pre-season over Bama. That said,

This pretty much sums up most of the reasons why you could justify ranking Bama over AU.

I can see cases for both. AU being better but having a way tougher schedule.

Preseason equals do not care though.

if we are going by last year, this is incorrect.
