I’m so tired of seeing them miss obvious PI calls

He’s ruined momentum once again. It’s so frustrating
This is why he’ll stay. Aside from an epic disaster, imo.

153 yards on 28 carries today. He was fighting for every yard and ran hard.

Could tell he wanted this win as much or more than anyone. Glad to have him at AU.
After what we saw today, absolutely. Daniel’s didn’t amaze anyone but he was making good decisions and was decisive.

He needs to start next game and see what he can do with this offense. JA clearly isn’t the answer imo.

Exactly my thoughts towards him. I didn’t want him a few years ago and I don’t want him now.

IMO He’d be a terrible fit at Auburn anyway. He’d just burn it to the ground, trash the fans and school while shitposting on X as he left for his next paycheck in 3 years.

Ok. This is starting to be hurtful now.
Idk much about mizz football so maybe it’s my bias speaking. Just being transparent here.

But, AU seems like a far better chance to make a splash and further your brand as a coach if you believe in your own abilities. All coaches at this level do. I don’t see how it’s up for debate tbh.

Why is mizz a better job now?

That being said, I fully expect Auburn to find a way to lose this upcoming game Saturday.

Totally agree. He put everything on JAs shoulders. Easy to hindsight this one tho.
I’m not as in the loop on the inner workings of staff but this is bad. It’s not just Thorne. He’s a mess but only a part of the bigger overall problem.

I got used to losing again by the time the wheels fell off at the end of 17’, with the injury to our only source of offense at the end of the iron bowl we saw the writing on the wall.

Since then it’s been bleak. I’ll admit to hoping Hugh was going to come in and show ANY gradual improvement in the foundation of this team. I’ve been of the opinion even until this morning that I’m content waiting to see what we look like in 25’.

Not anymore. You’re right about his decision making, about mistakes and him being a chode. Somebody betta thank a union memba. Even if Hugh pulls out the uggs and iPads with a stack full of $1’s and rubbers it won’t fix his deficiencies as HC.

It’s only a matter of time. Looks like we’re still lost in the desert a while.
This defense is giving me Jake Holland flashbacks. Mufasa
Agreed. AU is in a bad spot talent wise but they’ve proven they can compete.

Getting trounced by those two teams isn’t acceptable and it’s 100% on the coaching staff. I still think Freeze will turn it around in time but as you said, there’s absolutely no excuses. If this is happening in year two he’s in for a short stay.

The AU fans that just care about beating Alabama suck. I always cringe when I hear another AU fan say that.

We needed that

Obviously Ark is bad (we shouldn’t have been the underdog in this one imo) but with so much negativity over the last several years it’s good to see some positives.

Something that stood out to me the most was seeing the intensity Freeze had so late in the game while being so far ahead. We’ve missed that in a HC for too long. Harsin wouldn’t show any sign of passion regardless of the situation.
