I'm not bitter at all. I've seen my team win a National Championship. You can keep all your Super Bowl wins and I'll keep our NC.
Can't wait to see you get embarrassed Saturday

The school will stop it when one of the students gets hurt and gets a 5 mil settlement.

Isn't that like a whole trailer park student housing for them?

And because the school continues to fail to fulfill its responsibility in that regard, the NCAA has to step in.

Anyone who's watched more than 15 minutes of college basketball knows why it's in the NCAA's best interests to do whatever necessary to make the school keep the fans off the damn court.

This isn't even just an NCAA issue. Have some of you people never even been to a fricking high school game? Name me one state athletic association that doesn't mandate appropriate host school security...including keeping students off the damn playing surface.

Fining a school for storming the field $250K goes against the SEC pushing their motto in the SEC “it just means more”.

Typical leghumper.

Bitching about us allowing our fans to storm the field in aa game in which they aren't involved, but still bitching about how we handled them storming the field >30 years ago.

In other words, bitches bitching.

Hell, even the Auburn grad that hosts the lunch show on WJOX called them out as the trashiest thing of the weekend.

Glad he called em out and how the Hell do they keep letting fans storm the field? I've seen it once in Athens on the last 30
years and I highly doubt it happens again.

The fine should be close to a $1 million.

Police around the perimeter of the stands with canines. UF was terrible back in the day about storming the field and they put a stop to it very quickly. It doesn't happen at all anymore.

As an Auburn fan I personally would prefer fans not go on the field...but I don't see it as that big of a deal. I understood the Kick 6 game. As Davis was running I remember having the thought that this was replacing the Band Game as the greatest ending in CFB history...on the heals of the Prayer at Jordan Hare...on the heals of the greatest turn around in college football history. I didn't think it would become a normal practice.

Would it be cheaper to replace those hedges with thorny hedges.

Oh, they are thorny already. It's not pleasant.

Maybe try spraying them with fire hoses like they did Georgia fans in 86.

Bitching? Quite the opposite. What field's hedges will fat Auburn women get stuck in this week? Won't be the ones in MBS.

That and repeatedly announce over the PA that fans storming the field will be arrested.

Clemson fans always storm the field, whether it's an upset win or not (Seems to be working OK for them, seem to work with recruits, fans, etc.).

Clemson's actually so hospitable, in fact, that opposing teams' fans can "storm" the field after wins at Memorial Stadium. FSU fans did just that in 2013. (Streeter Lecka / Getty)

Just know that Clemson will storm the field at home regardless of the quality of its opponent.

Good opportunity to spread Grandpa's ashes on the field where he wanted them. Last home game of the year and nobody getting hurt shouldn't be that big of a deal.
