The oline has only struggled to protect Bryce when we have dealt with crowd noise, though. Check the tape.

Arkansas sacked him 4 times in the 1st half

LSU sacked him 4 times and pressured him on 43% of his dropbacks

For 2.5 quarters they definitely did - absolutely shut us down.

For the last 1.5 quarters and OT we basically ran up and down the field.

Based on points scored, neither has Bama. Agreed - this will definitely be the best offense we've played since Ole Miss, and possible best all year

I expect a similar shut down plan to what we had for Ole Miss.
I don’t think UGA is nearly as dangerous for us as Ole Miss was. We only lose games against elite QB play. I don’t think Bennett has it in him.

It'll be loud, no doubt. But it's not going to be College Station or Auburn loud...js

At this point, I don't think that there is any reason to think that UGA won't be able to get to Bryce. Its really all about minimizing/countering that pressure.

2. Before any of you point to the Auburn game, we have struggled with blocking with loud crowds all year. That will not be an issue Saturday.

I guess this settles it then. Definitely sounds like a team built to beat the #1 ranked team by 2 scores.

Generally I totally agree. However, Georgia's defense and skill changes that dynamic quite a bit, and we've got one loss this year and it was to this dude

So............yea I dunno

BTW I'm not saying UGA won’t get to Bryce. They will. He’ll get sacked some and he’ll get away from them and make great plays some.
I am saying that UGA will not be able to time the snaps like TAMU and Auburn did.

A one legged back up QB almost beat bama this past week. Bennett is a whole different animal. As for trouble blocking with loud crowds, LSU held bama to its lowest rushing yards ever. In your own stadium. Kirby has seen film on 2 teams now showing how effective a strong blitz is in limiting Young's ability. LSU had 9 starters out on defense. Kirby's defense is a whole different animal, too.

Yea - they're going to get to him. We have to have things prepared that entice it and then exploit it (which Bryce is as good as anyone at doing).

If we had an OC that I trusted to do that I'd feel ok about it with our WRs. I just.......don't. Hope I'm wrong!

The one legged back up QB and his offense had less than 150 yards. Let's not pretend like Auburn almost winning had anything to do with their offense.

I will sign up for this. I wouldn't be shocked if we got blown out. I wouldn't be shocked if we blow them out. Nothing that can happen in this game would surprise me.

If you think UGA is going to shut down bamas offense you haven’t watch Bama play. Stop looking at box scores and look at matchups.

I saw your matchup against LSU’s duct tape JV defense. Not a good look

Maybe I was watching a different game, but I didn't see Bama play like a shred of themselves until that final possession, and I've watched more of them this year than I have in any prior season.

Alabama hasnt done anything to justify this prediction in over a month so probably it will happen.

I hope Georgia eats them alive but probably they will be ultraconservative and fail to expose Alabama's defensive weaknesses. I see a low scoring game, 13-6 Georgia.
