Yea, 10 points in 1.5 qtrs is the equivalent of 27 pts for a full game.
So, like I said, Auburn dominated us about as thoroughly as possible for 2.5 qtrs. We then moved the ball and scored pretty well the last 1.5 qtrs, especially the 4th quarter (10 pts, 221 yards).

You're a good poster, but this whole extrapolating a portion of game to justify your team's underperformance is a bit of a pile of bullshite... don't you think?
I could take one of Auburn's scoring drives and say "hey if we would've played like that all game, we woulda scored 50!

To be frank, the biggest difference between Georgia and Alabama is consistency.
When Alabama is playing it's best ball on offense, it's one of the 2 or 3 best offenses in the country.
When Alabama is playing it's best ball on defense, it's one of the 5 best defenses in the country.
The problem is, Alabama doesn't do either consistently, and we generally tend to do one well while doing the other poorly. Not just "not great", either, but horrid bad. Defense vs Florida/A&M/2nd half Arkansas. Offense vs LSU/Auburn.
Georgia, on the other hand, has basically been high level on both sides of the ball in every game they've played all season. You know exactly what you are going to get.

Our offensive performance was dogshite, but we were horrid for about 2/3 of the game, not the entire game. We had 63 total yards at the midway mark of the 3rd qtr and ended the game with almost 400.
Which is basically a microcosm of our entire season.

I see your point. But unfortunately that 2/3 of the game where Bama was abused by the Auburn defense still happened. We didn't have the depth for the 4th qtr.
