This is true, and if it’s some podunk county (most of them are there), they’ll write tickets for about anything just for the money they generate for the county. However, with this kid, wouldn’t shock me if he’s uninsured. The number of players who are cited for driving without a or suspended license and/or without insurance is amazing. They’ll get speeding tickets, ignore them, then get arrested when they speed again and say they didn’t know their license was suspended.

This was pre-smart phone where you can pull up your insurance card on an app even if you forgot to put the new one in the glove box though. I doubt Ricks is the type of guy to have the GEICO App on his phone though.

While technically true, they arent running around writing tickets for this I've ever heard of when they just run your tag for registration and insurance. There's pretty much no cop dumb enough to ask someone to provide proof of registration/insurance if they already verified they are good via by running their tag. The potential of writing a ticket with a very tiny fine (here in Ga it's like $25 if you have it but cant provide "proof") is far outweighed by pissing someone off asking to prove it and them having to potentially rummage around in the car which makes any cop uncomfortable. Now it's definitely different if they run it and registration or insurance is not up to date, then they have to ask. But that's a different situation we're talking about here.

There are some instances that when we run the tag for insurance the system is down or it comes back without any info. I see that more with these app based insurance companies that don't have local offices. But for him to write that ticket tells me Ricks did not have it on an app to show, in card form and when the officer ran the tag it came back with no insurance or none could be found for whatever reason.

My feeling exactly on the insurance. Hopefully he has it but it just wasn't with him -that happened to me once before I could just pull it up on my app. I just had to get a copy to have it dropped.
So he was just booked on this stuff with no bond? And . . . he just signed himself out.
The dude ain't a criminal. He was just in possession of a small amount of weed and was driving too fast (not even reckless driving).
Oh well. He'll be fine.
I see the same ole losers/idiots are out today though.

It was the Free State of Jones, my man.
Not surprised.
Kid was probably going up I59 headed back to Tuscaloosa.

Lack of insurance could just mean he didn't have the card to prove it. He wouldn't be the first person who didn't put their latest insurance card in the glove box.
Not true at all. Police can enter your license plate # into their laptop and instantly see if you have insurance.

Then why do they always ask for it?

Hey Willie... when you you plan on updating your graphic for LSU's losses to Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss last year... all without Ricks.
Posted on 5/2/22 at 1:08 pm to PeleofAnalytics
That is clearly ESPN’s graphic. You should take it up with them if you don’t like it, bitch!

One of the nation’s top transfers through the controversial NCAA portal, Ricks was still at the Jones County jail on Monday afternoon, according to a spokesperson there. He was booked at 5:14 p.m. Sunday, according to the sheriff’s office.
Bail will not be set until his court appearance, which is expected to be later today, the spokesperson told OutKick. At the latest, his court appearance would be in 48 hours after the booking time, which would be Tuesday.

Oh... so you use graphics that you know are out of date and incorrect and blame it on ESPN for not sending you updated graphics. How completely retarded but unsurprising. Keep up your "special" posts.
