I think they wanted to keep him there but staff had promised him a NFL LBer career. IMHO he was 20yrs old maxed out growing and 220lbs. You can’t come off the edge at 220 in the NFL. So if he gains 25lbs more after already gaining 21lbs his speed would’ve diminished. CBK(wow hadn’t typed that in a minute) talked it over with family and to get to the NFL he needed to move inside. I’m sure Blake coming in didn’t want to do it but he felt obligated to. Perk stayed at LSU, could’ve portaled but new school wasn’t going to promise him that , they probably were going to rush him but he didn’t want that. So failed experiment. In this Portal/NIL era the player has the leverage even if it cost a victory or 2. I don’t like CBK personally but I really think he did right by Perk, just was a tweener, not heavy big enough to come off edge in the league. Perk just not elite enough to play inside. That’s my opinion, but I really believe that was the situation. I believe CBK & staff really wanted to leave him there but had assured Perk & family while recruiting he’d be a NFL Linebacker. He won’t come off the Edge regularly but he’ll have his moments. Perk has raw talent out the wahzu!

Just an opinion of another “expert” so we just have to prove it. We play 6 or 7 teams ahead of us. Only thing to do is take care of business and beat them.

They got beat in OT on the last shot by Oklahoma with Wayman Tisdale to go to E8. Had beat a good Pittsburgh team and Ohio State to get there.

He’s going to be fine, he’s got clearance and was “reported” to have run 21mph. He’s participating in passing and catching with LSU receivers in voluntary workouts.
There is no way Coach Kiffin is going to let him go to a “camp” and risk anything even an ingrown toenail at this point. He would also be scrutinized by every media in CF along with CLK. Every step, every throw, and every grimace would be analyzed in today’s social media environment. He’ll be ready to go and look out if he establishes great bonds with our WRs, OL, and staff by September.

Malone also got a Black TransAm like Smokey and the Bandit. He could add, subtract, or hardly read. Nobody cared about Tech by the time they got good it was too late. He had underwater basket weaving, bowling, and reading on a 3rd grade level. It was all good by the time he took them to the elite 8

Why are u on here talking about basketball? If you don’t like Wade then just hate. Fans want a winning program- people(boosters) are giving $$ because they believe in him. He is personable, he relates to players, he signed five 5*s. The Coach before him set a record for being the most losing coach in a four year span in the history of the SEC. I don’t know you and the racist name calling is a little extreme but why are you here. Basketball season tickets have already sold more than they ever have already, that’s why he’s back. His superiors he didn’t talk to are all gone and part of that is because they didn’t have his back. That created the stain you speak of but other coaches did the same but were supported by their admin, hell Self won the championship that year & Coach K won with Zion that Self and Wade were outbid by. You’re a Wade hater, don’t go away mad just GO AWAY!

He’s the Albert Simeon of 24 but he’s actually at LSU. Ranked as the top IOL in his class, might’ve flipped because of AA but damn sure no reason to question his talent. The injury has plagued him his entire career at LSU but he was to see early playing time as a Freshman. Now I don’t think he’d still be on the roster if CLK, CCWjr, and C Wolf didn’t think he had talent. For that idiot OP to bunch coaches mistakes and the talent of a 5* IOL potential in the same thought is very Rantable.

My mom is from Boston and we use to go all the time way back in the day before my grandparents passed.
My relatives knew I was a sports nut even as a kid and for Christmas they would give me which is now all vintage hoddies, t shirts, and clothing from the Patriots and Celtics. I’ve never been a fan of the Celtics and the Patriots weren’t the juggernaut they are now. I wish I would’ve kept those things back then now.
