You’re right Beth gets enough heat here, some warranted some ridiculous but the coaching job she’s done this year has been good. After Tennessee swept I thought this was over again. They did the opposite, buckled up and went on run improving on all parts of the game. Softball if you get 2 aces you got a chance. When Heavener arrived (she’s good) she was the #1 pitcher in the country- she’s great but not elite. Beth has done a nice job this year and now has to go on the road in the Super against the best. If LSU doesn’t win this series against #1 Bama it shouldn’t diminish the job she’s done.’

It’s almost like if we had a football coach that went 15-0 with the GOAT college team in history and then went 13-13 the next 26.

As long as Phil old arse Knight is still alive and writing checks Oregon is up there. I know it’s 4000 miles up in nowhere but it’s nice.

Yeah he picked a bad time to start bitchn about money. That portal class this year is horrible, some of the people that gave a little $$ are going to need some assurance that CJJ can turn this mess around. IMHO I believe he can and will, but this team and their evaluations were piss poor.

Yet nobody runs a 10.1 unless they actually grow on a tree or sleep in a tree (Tyreek Hill, Antonio Brown, Steve Smith, OBJ, T Y Hilton just a few under 6ft) and he weighs 201lb with thighs like tree trunks.

I agree totally, but to think that CJJ is not the same Coach is ludicrous(not the Atlanta rapper).
This season is horrible but as of today it’s an outlier of his career. If this abysmal season occurs again next year then it’s time to go kookoo on Jay. The portal has been great to LSU in his career here but he definitely whiffed this time. He will reassess and turn this around, he has to. There is nothing you can say that can make him feel any worse. There’s no use slinging any more arrows this season is done. He has to do better, he has to comeback, and he will. There’s not a better Coach out there and you’re lying to yourself if you say it is.
