Well Bama backed into that Independence bowl over Ole Miss that first time when Eli beat ya and we had the same record robbing Eli’s chances of going 2-0 in the Independence bowl. What could have been....

Alabama did not have the SEC change the rules to allow them to play in the SECCG. And Alabama played every game on their schedule. OSU used a covid excuse to duck any decent team on their schedule.
They DID NOT earn a playoff spot. I was given to them.

Where in the hell does that come from? We welcome tOSU to the playoffs, and sincerely believe that they're one of the four best teams...on Monday night we'll see who IS the best!

Actually Ole Miss was 7-4 and Alabama was 6-5. Not our fault our fans travel better so they picked us
For the record Shreveport sucks and if that bowl game stopped happening I would not shed one tear

Alabama was not the first team to be selected for the BCSNCG without winning their conference (Nebraska 2001).
Alabama was not the first team to be selected for the CFP without winning their conference (Ohio State 2016).
Alabama was the first to actually win though.

Ole Miss fans typically travel well to bowl games and they spend money trying to win the party and all and with Eli playing I don’t know but you’re still probably correct. I was being deprecating about Eli playing twice potentially in two Independence bowls.

I don't get this line of thinking. OSU played all they could and won in a great conference - thru no fault of their own Covid shut them down - they weren't avoiding anybody. They deserve to be in the Playoff. Big Conferences matter. Overlooking them would be stupid and detrimental to the sport.

Who TF is complaining besides Dabo and ATM?? You sound like a jealous baby back bitch OP... I want to see the beat teams play... You say that Bama "backed" their way in back in 2012... My question to you is, did Bama control who made it in or was it the other coaches and the BCS formula that worked?? And after Bama rapped LSU 21-0, that put the nail in the coffin for any weak arse argument claiming that Bama didn't belong..
As for OSU they beat the shite outta Clemson and would probably beat Texas A&M... So AT WORST, they are the third BEST team in the country... So do people want the best teams playing or a good team that would get murdered by the superior one??
