re: Kentucky to Alabama in a few weeks
Have you seen the warehouse Bama plays in? Colman Coliseum literally looks like an airplane storage hanger you would see on a flight line. While I don’t like UK in any sport, they do have a nicer and bigger arena than Bama does.
And Nate has said over and over that while he looks f...

Kentucky ain't paying $50+ million to buyout Cal and Nate ...
I'm not sure he does. He only got Saban because the first coach he hired backed out. He couldn't be patient enough to wait and hear from Saban.
He always wanted to wait for Saban. the PTB didn't want to wait....

Feels like every one of their passes are crisp and on target and so many of ours are off target and throwing off the momentum of the team....
On October 30, 1993, Wisconsin defeated the Michigan Wolverines, 13–10, for the first time since 1981. As the final gun sounded, students began to charge the field to celebrate, but were blocked by the guardrails surrounding the field. The crowd in the back, not aware of what was going on at ...
Don't know if Eli is still doing MRN or not. If he is, he can give Bama a heartfelt frick you as he's leaving the building.
They fired him years ago....

re: Opting into NCAA 2025 Dilemma

Fairly positive all the schools have already signed up and it's up to each individual play whether or not they opt in. There's not a single person out there that won't buy the game if "Player X" isn't in the game. Might as well take the $600 and the free game....
The Salvatore's ads are just funny because of how it went down. He never signed a contract with him. They gave him food and he recorded the ads. Always sign a contract folks ...

re: So Alabama fired Eli Gold?
He has earned his right to retire just like Saban did. It just goes to show you that no matter how good you do Bama and it's fans will turn on you in a second and act like you suddenly suck.
If you suck at your job you should be able to be fired for it, regardless of how long you...
Let me just say that if you're fortunate to live long enough, you will get old, too. I hope you don't lose your job because of it.
Very, very few people in sports get to call their own shot out simply because very few know when it's time to call it quits. For every Saban that ret...
Two being O-linemen, if I remember correctly. That team goes 10-3 without that.
Once they lost to LSU the seniors basically quit. You could tell they looked at it like "Why did we bust our arse so much harder this year only to get the same results?" The juniors took over the leaders...
It's worse than that, we allow it for no talent kids who have wealthy parents. They greatly outnumber pro athletes.
See the kid that killed Rob Bramblett and his wife. He was granted youthful offender status for that (meaning the most he's allowed to receive is three years in pri...

You do know the playoff is expanded now right? The whole point of the tougher non-conference scheduling is to set yourself up for an at large spot if you don't win your conference....
I’m struggling to see him meshing with this group.
I mean he literally was a guest analyst most years Alabama was not in the title game. ESPN (and especially Herbie) has made it known they wanted him on the show full time whenever he hung it up. If you followed him like Alabam...
The national broadcasters are not going to say “Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium” constantly so Saban’s legacy will never get the proper credit he is due.
This. How often do you hear them say "You're looking live at Steve Spurrier-Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium" or "...
