100 cops cant arrest 25K idiots who are mostly students.

I don't expect them to arrest 25k idiots. Even arresting 100 eventually sends a message.

he started a slide about half a step before he trucked the catcher

It wasnt a slide that would have beat the tag, and he didn’t even fully commit to it.

Yeah he absolutely tried to truck the catcher. Zero sympathy for him being ejected. He actually slides he definitely would have been tagged out but Oregon would have challenged the out call and probably wins the challenge.
Colleges could absolutely end the portal madness by making the players employees with enforceable contracts but they do not want the responsibility of being an employer for the players.
Start arresting people and including a lifetime athletics ban and it will stop. But they're afraid mommy and daddy will stop writing checks to the school for donations so they won't do it. Kind of like how Texas "reviewed all footage" from all the different cameras in their stadium and couldn't identify a single person that threw trash during the Georgia game last season. Sure pal. And I have ocean front property I can sell you in Idaho.

Lmao Nick Saban this, Nick Saban that. Spoiler, there’s only one Nick Saban. You’re going to be miserable for the rest of your life if you compare everyone to him.

One of the reasons guys like Nick Saban (and Bear Bryant) were so successful for so long is that they evolved with the game. Sports are littered with guys that won a singular championship (maybe two) but refused to adapt. Sure they may still win a lot of games, but they don't win championships. Look at Dabo. Made the playoffs this year because of the expanded playoff but he hasn't adjusted to the new college football. Jim Tressel is another one. He still won plenty of B1G championships after 2002 and played in a couple of more title games, but he didn't evolve with the game. That's what Murphy is right now. He clearly won't adjust and still favors slap hitters over power.

Now that the WCWS is set let's look at how those teams did power wise this year (only includes games through Friday 5/23)

2.) Oklahoma 111
3.) Florida 105
6.) Texas 85
7.) Tennessee 67
9.) UCLA 93
12.) Texas Tech 59
16.) Oregon 83
.) Ole Miss 65

Offense wins in 2025. UCLA is broke. Like...broke. You want me to believe they were able to hit 93 home runs because of NIL? GTFO man. They hit them because those are the players their coach recruits
And let's get away from offense for a minute. Let's look at 2020. In 2019 Alabama went 60-10, won the SEC by four games at 18-6. Lost to Florida 2-1 in the tournament championship game but then shut out all three opponents in the regional and beat Kentucky 2 games to 0 in the Supers and went 3-2 in the WCWS. Almost everyone returned in 2020. One preseason poll had us #1 and the rest had us #2. How did that season start? First week we went 1-3. After two weeks we were 4-5. When Covid shut everything down we were 14-8 and 2-1 in the SEC. From 60-10 to eight loses after the first weekend of conference play? Screw that. No one talks about that anymore. Murph has lost his fastball, period.

No fricking shite, OU has won the last 4 national championships. Thanks for stating the obvious.

When football teams started beating Alabama with mobile QBs running hurry up, RPO offenses Nick Saban started recruiting those guys and hired Lane Kiffin to modernize his offense. Murphy held on to the same staff for years and has recruited the same style players he always has recruited. Five years now of OU dominating . Let's do more stat breakdowns then.

OU has six girls that have hit 11 or more home runs this year. Alabama had one hit double digits.

2024 OU had seven girls hit double digit home runs. Alabama's HR leader hit 7.

2023 OU had five girls in double digits and two more at 9. Alabama had one hit sixteen and then two hit eight.

2022 OU had six girls in double digits. Alabama's HR leader hit ten.

2021 OU had seven girls in double digits and two more at nine while Alabama's leader hit thirteen , eight, six, then three. So our top four girls hit 30 combined HRs while OU had three girls hit 24+.

OU has given you a blueprint on how to win big and we don't do it.

Oh yeah he went out and recruited a HR hitter in the transfer portal last year right? She hit 17 and 19 HRs her first two years. How many did she hit this year at Alabama? Seven. And her batting average dropped to .302 after hitting .421 as a freshman and .324 as a sophomore.
58 home runs while OU hits 115+ every year. That. Does. Not. Win.

We're .500 in the SEC the last three years. Since 2015 we've won one regular season SEC Championship and one SEC Tournament championship. And don't forget that the 2022 and 2023 SEC Softball Players of the Year both transferred out from Alabama. Murph is washed. Period.
Since 2022 here are our runs scored in post season games (SEC and NCAA tournament)

2022: 0, 3, 0, 6, 4, 0

2023: 7, 3, 6, 5, 12, 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 0

2024: 2, 1, 6, 12, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 4

2025: 3, 2, 8, 4, 3, 0, 2

16/35 games with 2 runs or fewer.

Home runs hit by year (National team leader)
2022: 58 (151 Oklahoma)
2023: 56 (117 Oklahoma)
2024: 42 (160 Miami (OH); OU second with 122)
2025: 58 (147 Ohio State; OU second with 115)

Let's throw in 2021 since that's when OU's current streak started for fun:
Alabama 41
Oklahoma 161. ONE HUNDRED TWENTY MORE HOME RUNS.

You can not win championships playing small ball anymore and Murphy clearly refuses to adjust to it. We now have basically five years of data to show for it. Fire. Him. Now.

And while Murph is frustrating these days, there is no doubting that he's as good at getting a team ready to play in the postseason as anyone in the sport.

That's a bold thing to say when we're traveling to the four time defending national champion this weekend. Hard to believe that after 2012 UA and OU each had one title and OU now has 8 titles. We're .500 in the SEC the last three years. Since we were the runner up in 2014 Florida has been to the championship series twice, FSU three times, and even Auburn was runner up once. Hell if Corey Meyers had kept it in his pants we'd probably be the second best program in the state right now considering AU was the better program from 2015-2017 when Clint "retired."

Alabama has made 18 of the last 20 Super Regionals. Incredible consistency.

Hosted nine Supers between 2005 and 2016. Have hosted three Supers since 2017.

Does that same base and Trump know Pete fricked a 14-year-old girl?

I mean we have court records that Trump visited Epstein island at least seven times...so no they don't care.

Guess he hasn't read baseball's CBA.

I know man baseball's CBA is so bad that players are guaranteed every single cent of their contract regardless of how they play after signing it. Can you believe that horrible CBA allowed Stephen Strausburg to collect his full $245 million contract even though he only made 8 starts and pitched 31 and 1/3 innings after signing that 7 year deal?

Embarrassing that they waited until these guys were dead.

Clearly we all have a different view of what "lifetime" in "lifetime ban" means. Manfried said that from now on once a person is dead that means they served their lifetime ban and then it will be up to the HOF if they get in or not.

Also lol at all of y'all "It's a shame they waited until Pete died!" when the man literally agreed to a lifetime ban.

Elijah Pritchett as a first rounder

Someone may also want to inform him he transferred to Nebraska.

Apparently it is because he still has it

I mean his job is to make the owners as much money as possible and even though the players and fans hate him he's done that. That's why he still has his job.

USC retires every Heisman winner’s number. Caleb was retired before playing pro football and they had a ceremony last year.

Yeah but that's because they retire every winner. Colorado has retired 4 jerseys ever..and three of those were retired before 1970 and are technically now available again with a commemorative patch. The only one out of circulation at the moment is Rashaan Salaam's #19...which they said would remain out of circulation for 19 years. It was retired 23 years after he won the Heisman and I bet a big reason why they retired it was because he was dead. I can get retiring Hunter's jersey because of the Heisman...but Sanders? L. O. Freaking. L. Thanks Daddy I guess.

For the record I think retiring jerseys is dumb. I mean the Yankees have retired every single single digit jersey! 22 total numbers are retired by them...I get they have so much history...but that's ridiculous . What happens 50 years from now when they retire a few more numbers??
Please tell me how many schools have the jersey of "the best QB in school history" retired that didn't either lead them to a championship or win the Heisman. It's 100% being retired because of Deion...and that's pathetic.

re: Alabama Gymnastics (2024-25)

Posted by BamaDude06 on 4/12/25 at 7:52 pm
It's so dumb. There is ONE school that sponsors women's gymnastics in Texas... Texas Woman's College and they average less than 300 fans per meet. They need to go back to the old days: six regionals with the top two advancing, 12 team semi finals that rotates, and Super Six finals
