Hate seeing dude get possibly concussed, but that was insanity for the refs to pull him out of the game

He hit his head hard and immediately grabbed it and was frozen for a few seconds before he started to get up. That's a play you absolutely have to send a player off to get checked out.

Handing the ball to Jam Miller for 1 yard up the middle accomplishes nothing and wen you call the play, you know that's what's going to happen. Just stop doing it.

The drive after OU cut it the three and we go and get that deep pass complete to Horton and then ran Jam on back to back plays for a total of -1 yards and then Ty was sacked on 3rd & 11 made me want to throw something at the TV. Same as Kane deciding to go back to only sending four on that previous drive and giving up a TD. Our coordinators both seem to have a habit of killing our momentum randomly with just a head scratching call and I think that's one of the reasons we have such trouble putting teams away this season.

I watched some of the OU radio crew. Very professional. Night and day compared to AU, who complain after every other call.

Yeah I was a little surprised last year in Norman hearing them out on the concourse/restrooms how professional they were. After the refs stole that TD from Ryan they said something to the effect of "Well we'll take it because it benefits OU but that was an absolutely bogus call to take that TD away from Alabama."
Two. Bama vs Texas and Bama vs LSU.
First team to not play in the conference championship game to win the BCS Championship Game.

First team to not play in the conference championship game to win the College Football Playoff.

College football history runs through Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Go after Sam Pittman if it happens.

Part of the reason he took the reduced buyout at Arkansas was they dropped the "have to find a new job" requirement. Good chance he retires.
Did he ever pay his past due spousal support? He resigned at Pell City last year after a judge threatened to give him a 310 day jail sentence for being almost 5 years late on payments .

I tire of this entire argument. If there is an advantage to being Independent there is nothing stopping Alabama, Texas, OSU, etc. from leaving their conference and going Independent.

The Longhorn Network was 100% laying the ground work for Texas to go independent in football and ESPN lost money on it.
Last year Joel Klatt said there had been discussions according to his sources for the following:

B1G 1v2 in Indianapolis and SEC 1v2 in Atlanta. Both teams guaranteed spots with the two winners being the 1 and 2 seed with a bye. Both leagues would have two play in games too. 3 hosting 6 and 4 hosting 5. Those four winners would be in (Eight guaranteed spots so far). Loser of those games would be eligible for an at-large pick.

Then the Big 12 and ACC would have 1 host 4 and 2 host 3. Winners get in (12 total spots so far) and losers would also be eligible for at large berths. Two at large spots for all of those losers plus a potential Group 6 team that won their league. 14 total teams.

Now let’s discuss SMU

They paid $200 million and forfeited all media rights revenue for 9 years.

You are a team getting talked about like every other team in the rankings

This thread is literally about Alabama. I know education isn't strong in Louisiana but try and keep up. I think they still make Hooked on Phonics if you need help reading.

Alabama:

This is the same committee chair that said they dropped Alabama to 10 in part because they needed a second half comeback on the road at South Carolina to win and the same interview said "We think it was impressive A&M came back in the second half against South Carolina (at home)." If anything this is them correct their mistake of dropping Alabama as far as they did after the OU loss.

Either way keep crying LSU fans while Alabama plays in their 9th College Football Playoff in a few weeks while your team sits at home for the 11th time in the CFP's 12 seasons.
It's almost like Alabama runs the sport. Deal with it bitches :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:
It's almost like their AD admitted when they hired Deion they didn't have the money for his full salary (and that was before the raise and extension).

Three year old SI story
quote:

Didn't A&M almost hire him two years ago?

Yes. He was all but hired until there was some booster revolt and they ended up hiring Elko. That was Bjork as AD and a few weeks later he left for tOSU.
quote:

I hope he stays there for a long time. They will have plenty of good seasons, but will never be a Saban led Bama team. They will always be beatable.

It's almost like there's only one Saban. Even in his last couple of seasons Saban had more one score wins than ever.

Same here. All I could think about was what would happen if we didn't convert.

Kane would have brought the house on one of the next plays with AU backed up like that.

Maybe it became a rule after Jimmy Graham fricked up the goal post.

This. Because that idiot decided to actually try and damage the goal posts when he would dunk the NFL banned it.

Keep in mind part of the reason is the change in clock rules has shortened games so you get fewer possessions. We also frequently use the entire play clock and have 4+ minute drives even when we don't score. We didn't even cross midfield on our final drive yesterday and still burned over 6 minutes.
