So you're actually saying that the defense won the game, right?

But the DLine was not great, young Key and Godchaux, Lewis Neal and Christian LaCouture.

Yeah, his schemes work so much better with some Earth movers up front and we were light, weak, and young.

I think he'd crush it with Shelvin, Ika, Roy, and Guillory though.

You’re total defense had been in the 20s to 30s

People act like you hve a top scoring defense but that’s been declining.

Your secondary is questionable every year

You’ve basically had a dominant DL which is one of the most important things in football.

But I feel like without Brown and Davison what’s good about your defense?

The drop in rankings is attributed to Bama and us laying an egg against Minnesota

You haven't watched Auburn if you think the defense was only two players

Not even sure how to respond to stuff like this anymore.
If you can't see a night & day difference in the defense put on the field between 2009 and 2015 or so then I don't know what to say

That's my question. They're gonna pay a mediocre DC coach 2.5 mil while maintaining another mediocre head coach for north of 6 mil a year...for what?

That's an improvement over saying things that are wrong.

His defense hasn't been that impressive the last two years, even with a all world DL.

Bama has shredded them the last two years. 52 points in 18, 45 last year.

I can start with Alabama's 515 total yards last year...without Tua.

Alabama had several stellar hires before Saban, who was on everyone's list at that time. One bought hookers, one was run off by racists before coaching a game, Shula, DuBose, any others?

I knew you were old. I didn't realize you had mental impairments too. I'm sorry.

Good Lord!

Anyone trying to diminish the value of Kevin Steele to Auburn football is silly. The man is a damn good DC and his unit shoulders the heaviest burden on that team. Steele has to compensate for a stale, stagnant and ineffective offense every damn year.

Auburn/Greene did right to pay the man his worth. Good on the old man for raking in that cash.
