Dude, the refs clearly explained that a player can't fumble when he has been picked up and supplanted. His forward progress was completely stopped.

Which is a good rule by the way. Can you imagine how many injuries there would be if football turned into WWE?

I don’t think people realize how bad Gus was.

Harsin is taking one of the least talented teams Gus recruited and actually handling it pretty well.

Harsin will do well if he can recruit.

Always knew he was a good coach. This will determine his fate at AU. You can recruit great and still be behind 4 teams you play annually in talent. That’s a tough spot.

The reason why Auburn and Alabama for years have gotten so much favoritism is because the office is right there, they know the fans would come burn the office down if either team got a fumble and the refs 'reviewed' it and called it not a fumble.

Don't lump us in with the Bama fans who literally shot somebody last weekend after their loss. The SEC doesn't give a single frick about Auburn.

As an Auburn fan, it's been nice and refreshing to see actual adjustments. Whether they be in-game, or getting young talent playing time due to their effort in practice and)or the film room.

The last several years of watching Gus' offense bang it's head against a wall expecting something to change was disheartening. Along with his refusal to get you get guys significant playing time when the talent was there just sucked all of the life and excitement out of the program.

I think Gus is a good man. He never got us into trouble and he always dealt swiftly with any players acting like an arse. But he got away from what made him successful and didn't adapt enough. I understand betting on yourself, but eventually after what you're doing not getting any better, it comes off as just being stubborn.

I absolutely love the approach Harsin is taking with this program. And if he is given the time and people are patient with it, I think he will have Auburn football in great shape. He reminds me of Saban (No, I'm not comparing them or claiming Harsin will have anywhere close to Saban success) in his approach to "the process" and doing your job. The man is serious as a heart attack about what they are trying to build and if you aren't giving your all in every aspect of it, then he doesn't have time for you and you will be left behind. I think it's exactly how a successful program is built in my opinion.

I really like Harsin. If he can recruit, I think that he is going to be solid.

How many terrible posts will piggies post in this thread alone???

3 weeks ago everything was rainbows and fairy facts

Now half have disappeared and only talk about negative stuff that has nothing to do about their own crappy football program

It will be nice to see Auburn get on track

Meh, AU has plenty of talent, more than Arkansas. Arky was fools gold and gassed, and the long punt that should have been fielded was the turning point in the game.

I am gaining a LOT of confidence in the game management that Harsin is bringing.

So are the players. Sound game management, adjustments, accountability

plus he didnt require a vaccine mandate.

Checks every single one of the boxes

So glad we have him...

and he is working right now to ALWAYS maintain pursuit of being 1-0 this week..

Said it from the start, one of the best coaches I have ever seen

I've thought it all along. Auburn is in good hands with Harsin. He's a no nonsense kind of coach and will move Auburn a bit by bit away from Mickey Mouse football.

Yeah, people only every see the 3 wins against Saban. I appreciate those wins, but there were SO MANY badly managed games...

Have to say I have been impressed with the job Harsin has done with what he has to work with. AU can sell playing time and playing on the biggest stage. he has behind the 8-ball talent wise relative to Bama and UGA but no one is catching them right now. Harsin is beating who he is supposed to beat.

I mis-wrote it. Only taking them at the right time. If we needed a fg he went for the td or yards and missed most of the time and it added up over the games. I don't hate Gus but he has a knack for always doing the opposite of what he should. The players just made him look smart every now and then if they made it despite the odds.

That response after the Georgia game was great. That’s all coaching. They believe in him, and if he can actually recruit they will be successful soon.

Recruiting is going extremely well and on a national scale. Aubie is just shutting up about it andt trying to get better each day. The new football only complex is coming along. Future bright!

Those Kentucky and Georgia fans had every bit of what was coming to them.

THEY were the ones that should have been banned.

Likewise the "Miner' poster who threatened violence...

a case of listening to the crooks...

I am OK with it all - not my board

I can't believe people actually believe you are an Alabama fan.

Quite impressive to pull it off.
