Kid will be a bust. Good luck to the young man though.

tu is all about name and fame. Arch will fit perfectly and have a similar career as Simms.

Porter Osborn and Trussville Tide thinks you don't know what you're talking about and that you're the worst poster ever. They think Arch is the TiTs and ain't no better.

Haven't seen him play so I can't say how good he is or isn't. But if he is struggling I wonder if the pressure of having to be so great is getting to him. Some guys thrive under the pressure and some guys crumble.

I'm very excited about our upcoming QB situation. But his name is Ty Simpson.

If Peyton’s son (Marshall, I think) shows signs of being elite when he gets older, can you imagine the pressure on him?

Archie was great and all, but it was really Peyton that made the Manning name what it is. Nobody on the street knows who Cooper and Archie are.

If he played behind a decent offensive line in the NFL, no telling what he could have accomplished

He led the NFC in passing yards one year playing on a dysfunctional team.
Dude would have been a HOFer had he been drafted by Oakland or Dallas etc.

Howard > Arch

Of course he is at this point. Arch is only a sophomore. He's like, what, 15? He has two years of eligibility left.... in HIGH SCHOOL. I read through this thread, and it made my skin crawl. Some of you people are pathetic.

He has had 2 terrible games on ESPN.
I watched part of the Hoover Thompson game last night with Arch's game. Arch would ride the bench at Hoover or Thompson. Both their QBs were much better playing at elite levels.

Arch plays in small school ball. A 5 star should dominate that small school football.

No way this kid is the best high school qb in the country.

Alert the media, someone was wrong when evaluating a high school football player. I don't see the big deal because they are wrong all the time. Just take a look back through the years at all the top rated QB's who didn't measure up. Arch is a big story because he has an unbelievable pedigree which makes a great story.

I watched him play. I kinda agree. He is descent but I don't understand the hype either. He does have potential though.

Arch is a junior and is old for his grade. So he's 17, almost 18 - making him only a few months younger than Howard. Not 3 years younger.

IIRC, he was the first ever QB to be named to the Pro Bowl who played for a team with a losing record.

Even if he is over rated in high school (which I don't know, haven't paid much attention) the kid could still be elite in college given the right coaching.
