We were rated highly based on talent, which was obvious, and proven in the NFL.
We just had some terrible coaching seasons.

Les and BK wasted some talented teams. Now we have. Coach that can do more with less

If a team has been in the playoffs, won a conference championship, and a national championship how can they be considered OVERRATED in the last 12 years?

Auburn has only appeared in two AP polls since 2021. Seems they have actually been appropriately rated

Mathematically you just take the preseason ranking and compare it to the final ranking.
Start the season #1 and finish #15 and you've got 14 points towards being over-rated.
I don't know if that's what is going on here.

Meh.
The only way to be overrated is to be rated in the first place.

I’m guessing they tallied the difference between preseason AP rank and final AP rank. LSU has started the preseason in the top 10 and finished unranked multiple times. So has Auburn. That is how you lock up first and second, underperform preseason expectations year after year. And yes Alabama has finished below their preseason rank quite a bit, for example starting as preseason #1 and finishing #4 for example.
If this is the method used, it is possible to make the playoffs and still be considered overrated.

BAMA beating them heads them down the poll.

We damn sure haven't been overrated since the start of 2021. The last time we were ranked in either preseason poll (AP or Coaches poll) was 2020.
Hoping Golesh turns things around.

How the hell has Arkansas been overrated?
We've finished the regular season 3 times with a record above .500 since 2014.

He looked at where you started preseason and where you ended up.
