once the players start watching film they will be woke. Who gives a crap about us fans. I have never liked playing a wide open O. We will play in Dime most of the game.

Hopefully the folks who matter, are taking Oklahoma seriously, the coaches & players. No team is unbeatable! Bama's defense has done a sweet job replacing all the D players lost last season, but they're still learning. Adjustments will be a huge factor to how well Bama's D does, and red-zone FG's -vs- TD's scored will help decide things...

I'd be surprised if it's not a tough game

ETA: I’m worried because they beat us w Trevor Knight last time. They’ve got the Heisman winner this time.

Alabama turned the ball over 5 times in that last game, and still had a chance to at least tie it at the end. I highly doubt OU gets that kind of luck this time around.

OU has a very good offense, however they stink at defense. Any team with a decent running game (and Alabama's is superior) can control the ball and the clock for most of the game.

That keeps the high powered OU offense on the sidelines, and all it takes is making one or two stops of that offense to win the game. Alabama's defense is capable of controlling OU's offense, actually most likely making it one-dimensional.

Am I overlooking this game, no. Am I taking OU seriously, yes. But Alabama most likely runs away with this game by 21 points (Vegas has Bama as a 2 TD favorite and they do not like to lose money)

Or better yet go all the way back to 1963 when Alabama actually beat Oklahoma

Alabama wins over Oklahoma are rarer than Auburn National Championships

OU will bring their “A” game against Bama, they always do. Bama better do the same! Between Bama and FSU, the Sooners have been very hard on me!

OU won't be able to run against Bama. It will get one-dimensional and ugly quick. And I hate Bammer. Just sayin'...

What makes you say such a thing? OU is considered by all media to have the best Oline in the nation. They also have two RBs who will play on Sundays and they were the BACKUPS for Rodney Anderson.

I take vengeance VERY seriously and we owe those stupid wagon driving tornado ducking bastards. They ran that gash under their noses pretty good and if you read their message boards they are not taking US very seriously.

OP is retarded but he is not wrong, the narrative is going to fire up the OU players. I will absolutely not be surprised if they play out of their minds and win.

This will be a high scoring game and Bama fans will be uncomfortable. I just want Bama to play their best game. If they do an OU wins they’re just the better team. What Bama can’t do is come out like they did against Georgia dropping passes and Tua trying to force passes that aren’t there and holding on to the ball for 6 seconds.

We are way overdue for a win vs OU. Haven't won since 1963.

I think he IS wrong, I don't think that team or their fan base respects us at all. I've been reading their message boards they think they are playing Texas or Okie State to hear them talk.

They are counting this as a win already.

They'll put up some point on Alabama - 24 or 31. However, it won't matter when Alabama puts up 49+. Harris, Jeudy, Waddle, Smith will have a field day with that defense. You can't just disregard 1/2 of play and continually expect to just outscore opponents.

49-27 Alabama.

The only thing to take seriously at this point is the two wks of R & R. When practice starts back up and some poor soul is the recipient of Saban's ire that the intensity is where it needs to be.. Then Saban stands at the podium talking how OK is the biggest challenge to date/Murray is one of the best qbs on any level. Attitudes will change

Outside of Oklahoma, there isn’t a person alive who believes the Sooners have a shot.
Rest easy.

You cant be serious! Alabama could play all the backups and still win this game by 21.

You can't win a championship with a defense like that. Sorry. They've got a placeholder DC, they're extremely undersized at corner. They'll score to make it interesting, but in the end, Alabama has too much at wide reciever, and too much on the ground. Unless they get turnover happy, they win.

OU is in the worst position in all of college football: Facing Nick Saban in a big game with a month to prepare. No team is going to beat Bama in the first round, not with the practice time that Bama has to get healthy. The only chance of beating Bama is on regular or short week, IMO.

Vegas has Bama as a 2 TD favorite and they do not like to lose money)

Vegas is going to make their money no matter what. The betting lines are decided by how much money is put on the the game by each side. There are probably a lot of OU fans who would take Bama with the points because they don’t want to lose money. I doubt there are many Bama fans who are gambling that will take OU to beat the spot. The telling sign will be as the game gets closer and which way the line swings near kickoff. That’s when the sharps go heavy on one side or the other.
