This is exactly what I was thinking when I read the response. I mean, do Bama fans really not remember being totally dismissed in the matchup against Miami in the '92 season? I guess most of the people on this board aren't old enough to remember. I member.

It's really about who's going to show up to play on that day. Just like last time. Stats are eye candy. Our players are facing a powerful peer. They know that. They will play like peers, like they always have.

So will you. Every Sooner message board I read doesn't think so. This isn't Texas or some wussy conference team you're out there with.

this was exactly everyones attitude the last 3 times we beat you in a row. Especially the last Sugar Bowl game. ESPN talking heads gave us no chance. I remember Mark May saying there was zero chance OU would win. We won by 10.

2 times, Alabama was on probation and sanctioned so we did not have full squads.

The last time, Alabama turned the ball over 5 times...

I doubt either will happen this time.

Alabama is a balanced team, Oklahoma has a very good offense

Alabama by 21.......

I promise that when coach Saban substitutes me in, I'll take them very seriously.

I personally love the hate and disrespect, OU historically feeds off of it quite well.

The experts said they didn't stand a chance against Ohio State in the shoe last season, and Lincoln Riley marched in and put on a clinic against elite talent and the so called nations best defensive line. I'm ready, this game will come down to turnovers. Both teams will score, this will be a back and forth game similiar to Alabama-Clemson 2 years ago.

A&M fans are just mad that a QB can leave their mediocre program, and come to a school with better coaching, elevating their game to Heisman level status.

I remember. I was 10 and went to the game with my dad and my aunt and uncle. I can remember watching Sportscenter in Alabama the night before we left for New Orleans and really starting to get worried that we might be wasting a trip going to the game because of what everyone was saying about Miami destroying Bama. It ended up being the best sporting event experience I'll probably ever have

A&M fans aren't mad at Murray - I'm glad he left. Dude would have been forced to retire from injury by now taking hits in the SEC. Instead he gets to play 7 on 7 football with a bunch of defenseless teams

It just makes sense for a guy that is never going to weigh enough to take serious hits. Maybe he's just wiry.

I made $10k on the 1992 Alabama Miami game.

I knew Alabama was going to win it because Miami had struggled during that year in 2 games.

It was against teams with the 4th and 5th best defenses.
Alabama was #1 in Total Defense, Pass Defense, Rushing Defense, and Scoring Defense in 92

I was sure Alabama would win outright and the points spread I received was just icing on the cake.

Oklahoma can win this game.
The negatives against them is they have no defense and Alabama's is top 3.
Oklahoma has a great Offense at #1 but Alabama's is 2 or 3 this season.

Alabama should win.

A&M fans are more angry at Kevin than Kyler.

A@M fans know deep down Kyler never had a chance with that crappy Oline and the lowest of low wrs. Now he’s on a real team with the best offensive line and has three nfl recievers to throw to every play.

Nothing about this game will surprise me either way. Down by 21 at half, not surprised, up by 14 at half, not surprised.

You learn to gauge your expectations as the premiere upper middle-class team of the last two decades.

Everyone is going to be looking around trying to understand what happened when it's 13-10 halftime.

I can't really get. Feel from this game but my gut tells me neither team will hit 50 as been predicted.

I think it turns out more like thenclemson game with someone putting up 24 in the fourth when the wall finally breaks.
