I think he IS wrong, I don't think that team or their fan base respects us at all. I've been reading their message boards they think they are playing Texas or Okie State to hear them talk. They are counting this as a win already.

Aww horse manure. We respect the livin fire out of ya'll. Some of them boys are probably 19 and don't have much real knowledge of the matter.

Then all you have on your boards are 19 year olds.

Vegas is going to make their money no matter what. The betting lines are decided by how much money is put on the the game by each side

The line is what Vegas thinks the true difference in score is going to be. Starting there it wavers as people start to put down money.

What makes you say such a thing? OU is considered by all media to have the best Oline in the nation. They also have two RBs who will play on Sundays and they were the BACKUPS for Rodney Anderson.

OU plays in a league not known for defense. Also UCLA, Army, and FAU are not known for defense, so the numbers are skewed.

OU has a very good offense, but their defense will be unable to control the game. Because of this OU will have to pass to stay in the game, thereby becoming one-dimensional. OU has never seen a defense like Alabama's this year, but Alabama has seen a few offenses like OU's

If Bama has a similar offensive game plan they did against UGA it could end up playing into Oklahoma’s hands.

No need to spread them out and throw the ball around the yard (especially when they see that everyday in the Big12) when yalls o-line can maul their front 7 into submission with the run game.

Michel/Chubb went for 330 on 25 carries — honestly think the game isn’t that close if we fed those guys the ball more.

That being said, I hope Kyler Murray pulls a Johnny Manziel and is just untouchable. That’s what it will take for OU to win. If I watch Bama hold up another trophy I will just vomit.

Probably gonna be a lot of vomit to start my 2019.

Sabatron has been tied into sports psychology for too long. If they are not up to play OU then there are problems way past the opponent.

Yes but that’s an afterthought. The money that exchanges hands in a high profile game like that is so large that Vegas is going to get their cut no matter what. This past week, Vegas made a lot of money on UGA keeping the game close with Bama. But at the same time, Vegas would have made a substantial cut if Bama would have rolled. The main point stands. The tell tale sign is if the line wavers much between the last couple of days and the kickoff. The sharps tend to know what’s up.

True, Vegas makes money no matter what. However it is when the lines first come out that what Vegas thinks can be seen. If not then every line would come out as +/- 3 (home field advantage) and rise or fall as the bets come in.

Oh there is a way. If Alabama turns the ball over 5 times again. I am not sure Alabama has turned the ball over that many times this entire season.......

1) You dont know any players. Don’t pretend to know things you have no clue about

2) I haven’t seen or heard a chorus of Bama fans trashing OU. Ive been listening to a lot of sports talk in Alabama...zero talk about the game. Not many Alabama people even calling in as its been mostly coaching change talk.

3) Me or you not taking a team seriously or taking them seriously means nothing to the outcome of the game

Who are you talking to? Anyone with any real understanding of football and what Riley does in his playcalling would know that at least offensively they will absolutely challenge Bama.

We will challenge them too. If we are on offensively they will play hell stopping Bama and if we can get a few stops there's your difference.

The biggest difference between Kyler Murray and Johnny Manziel is just how ridiculously hard it was to tackle Manziel. Remember the Cotton Bowl when he turned a 5 yard scramble out of bounds into a 30 yard touchdown by contorting his body to avoid stepping out? Murray doesn't have anywhere close to the improvisational "WTF just happened?!" capability.

this was exactly everyones attitude the last 3 times we beat you in a row. Especially the last Sugar Bowl game. ESPN talking heads gave us no chance. I remember Mark May saying there was zero chance OU would win. We won by 10.

Yes, but this year OU’s defense is historically pathetic. Worst passing defense in the entire NCAA. Alabama’s punter is going to spend the game on the bench

Let’s see. OU has #1 overall scoring offense,, #11 rushing offense and #8 passing offense.

Bama’s #s: 2/37/7
Louisville: 121/101/85
Arky State 45/54/23
Ole Miss 33/68/5
A&M 29/33/35
ULL?
Arky 115/99/23
Mizzou 18/44/27
Tenn 108/112/95
LSU 44/58/80
Miss St 65/21/111
Citadel?
Auburn 71/68/86
Georgia 13/12/64

So which 3 teams have offenses like OU?

But ou’s offensive rankings are based against teams with zero defense

And from above, at least half of Bama’s D #s are based on playing teams with no offense. A&M is balanced at least.
