FSU lost by 1 to a ranked team...regardless of the circumstances, that's a fact. I do think this is going to be a test for Bama's run defense. Sometimes a bunch of external negativity fuels a team temporarily.

The Bama offense has some weapons, but we're seeing growing pains with a young QB and an OC that appears clueless at times.

Play like the UK first half and this is a close game. Play like the second half, it won't be.

The game was not really as close as the score indicated. SMU moved the ball up and down the field and had like nearly 600 yards of total offense. If they had not turned it over a gazillion times, that score would have been pretty lopsided. FSU had 4 takeaways and still lost. Norvell looked lost most of the game.

Becareful what you say because your HC might get hired away to become FSU next football HC.
But I would have $51mm to help buy a new one.

Losing to this Alabama team by that much definitely would be embarrassing

No need to troll my man. Bama is easily a top 10 team and FSU is not even close.

Take the points and Fla St. No way we win by 20.5. Granted, I love to, but I just don't see it.

They just fired their AD earlier today. That can't be good.

It's not the AD firing; it's the scoreboard.

I'm just glad we didn't end up with him. Yeesh.

He's taken that short run at Memphis and that two-year stint at FSU where they went 10-3 and 13-1... and that's it.

It still should have been a warning sign that a team that went 13-0 in the regular season and won the ACC lost by 60 to UGA. That UGA team was really good, but even UT-Martin put up more fight.

From my understanding, a lot of it has to do with not being able to compete in the NIL landscape. They don't have the alumni money coming in like other schools their size and they're not able to get as much talent up and down the roster. Granted, I'm not saying Norvell is a great coach, but talent matters and their NIL funds aren't competitive from what I've read.

He's missing big at the QB position. He just bet his future on Backup Ashton Daniels. The natives were already restless, and this is who he decides to go down swinging with.

The primary advantage Florida State holds over Alabama this week is that they are coming off an open/bye week. This gives the Seminoles extra time to rest, heal, and scheme specifically to stop Alabama's offense, while the Crimson Tide are coming off a physical, hard-fought road game against Kentucky. Additionally, FSU carries a psychological edge, having upset Alabama 31-17 in their previous matchup last season

I never think this on this board, primarily because it’s clearly inhabited by a bunch of barely literate retards. But this is 100% AI. Just has that empty, shallow, mindless style paired with weirdly robotic phrasing. What kind of weirdo posts AI here?

Old adage in football. The best time to get an restful off week to heal up is after playing 2 home games vs one shitty CUSA team and one conference opponent.

How beat up do you think FSU was after 2 weeks???

The score was 27-24 and SMU turned the ball over 4 times, missed a FG, and had several other awful self inflicted mistakes all throughout the game. The turnovers weren't FSU making great plays either. It was stuff like dropping a punt, holding the ball out with one hand in traffic, a terrible throw in the end zone, and throwing directly to a defender who had been beat.

SMU was 8/14 on 3rd downs while FSU was 2/15. The Mustangs had 518 yards to FSU's 324. FSU's QB Ashton Daniels was a pitiful 12/23 for just 125 yards. FSU was not in that game b/c of anything they were doing.

Clemson better be careful with Dabo.

They don't want Norvell over Dabo.

The key stat is 2/15 on third downs

Norvell whiffed at QB and Oline. It's a shame because our WRs and RBs are actually pretty good

Then you have our defense, which actually has some good LBs and secondary. But I've really lost faith in the 3-3-5 scheme by Tony White...

The bowl blowout to Georgia is a pretty meaningless measuring stick in the grand scheme of things. It's more NIL and recruiting

The failures at QB have been devastating, especially in a college football landscape where it should be easy to get a decent QB

Norvell got lucky with Jordan Travis, and was able to build around him. Travis was brought in by Willie Taggart fyi

Anyways....dude needs to be let go and move on
