I had a guy ask me to name all the SEC teams earlier today and I got 15 out of 16 right

I accidentally said Indiana instead of Alabama though

Kaylen DeCline is ushering in dark days at Tuscaloosa.

What I noticed yesterday that was the most striking was the fact that Indiana believed they were the best team not only on the field, but in the country.

And Bama looked like they not only didn't believe that, but they also looked like they believed they were no where close to being on Indiana's level.

They looked scared and intimidated.

That would never have happened under Saban. Saban's Bama had an aura about them that intimidated every opponent before the kickoff. And they carried themselves in that fashion. Teams had to overcome that intimidating aura to win, which only a few accomplished.

Nobody is scared of Alabama anymore.

So what does that mean? I'm not ready to kick them out of the big 6 just yet, but it does appear that Alabama is on the verge of becoming a middle tier SEC program that nobody fears.

Thank you for providing us with this forum and a good laugh.

Honestly sounds like they should just shut down the program and let the players transfer to UAB.

Like LSU?

Nothing like a few “Alabama Sucks” threads to get the knuckle-draggers salivating and commenting.

Chicken driving traffic. Smart man.

If truly indifferent you would have not felt the need to create the thread.

They probably should just go ahead and shut the program down. No way can Bama ever come back from losing the Rose Bowl in this fashion.

As I sat in the superdome last night, watching LSU's offensive coaching staff and future LSU players carve up UGA's vaunted defense, it dawned on me that I had no feelings about the Alabama loss earlier in the day... I was completely indifferent to the fact that Alabama had just suffered their fourth loss of the season in blowout fashion. So what does that mean? I'm not ready to kick them out of the big 6 just yet, but it does appear that Alabama is on the verge of becoming a middle tier SEC program that nobody fears.
Same here, and before you know it, it will be normal for Alabama fans too. They’re in the desensitization phase now.

Alabama’s not a special program, just like Indiana. They just caught lightning in a bottle with Saban.

Teams that lose to conference USA teams are definitely kicked out of Big 6.
7-6 teams that pay bonuses to a coach because a rival team wins a playoff game are also disqualified

Saban was, obviously, that special.

In this new age of undefined, unfettered, and unlimited free agency, it’s hard to imagine another such dynasty popping up anytime soon (unless it’s the ‘Draft Kings Rebels of UNLV by Bitcoin’ or some such).

So, by definition, Alabama falls back to Earth only to hope for the same, ephemeral resurrection that will be available to many, many other teams/schools henceforth.

This is the way - unless or until there are codified contracts for players and teams that include things like salary caps, performance-based incentives, commitment requirements, anligned administrative dates and rules, etc.

You know, like there are in the other professional leagues.

Thread is about Alabama and here come all the 2026 VGT's talking about L...S...U...(VGT = Virgin Geek Troll) All of the well known SEC Rant VGT "Attention Whores" are in dire need of serious psychological counseling. I surmise that Mommy & Daddy didn't let them have any toys as a kid and they're currently suffering from some form of adult dementia.

Deboer is not an elite coach. He is the ANTI-Saban. Soft, no balls, no toughness, coddling-players coach that will ruin a program.........Bama will only get worse until he is removed. There is no fixing him. There are no bandaids that will work. The admin has to remove him asap.
