As I sat in the superdome last night, watching LSU's offensive coaching staff and future LSU players carve up UGA's vaunted defense, it dawned on me that I had no feelings about the Alabama loss earlier in the day... I was completely indifferent to the fact that Alabama had just suffered their fourth loss of the season in blowout fashion.

So what does that mean? I'm not ready to kick them out of the big 6 just yet, but it does appear that Alabama is on the verge of becoming a middle tier SEC program that nobody fears.

Odd flex from a fan of a team that was 7-6 and just lost a bowl game to Houston.

I've been indifferent about LSU for 6 years now.

Welcome to the club I guess?

It's fairly clear that the Tide is now a second-tier program and it will be a long time before they can dismantle a quality team like LSU did yesterday in the Sugar Bowl.

I wasn't so sure about LSU getting rid of Kelly so hastily but, the results speak for themselves. Being in the semi-finals of the CFP after getting rid of their coach mid-season is proof that they made the right decision.

LSU vs. Indiana in the NC is going to be fantastic television. Personally, I believe LSU adds another trophy to their illustrious case this season.

It makes me smile that Alabama has done so much damage to the man who created this board.

As an LSU fan, can you tell me how it feels to be a middle tier SEC program that nobody fears?

All they can think of over on the Bama boards is how will they get Lane.

So, does this mean you're skipping the annual re-constitution of the 'Bama number of Titles in contention' thread?

It's about that time.
