Man that’s a boring two months of football if you’re an Alabama fan.

Thanks for your concern, little bro. We’ll manage, though.

Not really. I’ll enjoy the beatdowns and seeing the young talent develop.

Someone on the radio said that Bama hasn’t played a true road game against a P5 oponent but two times since Saban has been there. Is that true?

Ole Miss will probably be ranked.

Not Bama’s fault. Y’all need to get better.

OOC, we have only had Penn State in 2010 and 2011 as a home-and-home. Every other 'marquee' game since 2007 was neutral site.

Probably. I don't think you can count most of the SEC as a Power 5 team.

I'm not sure that Bama has all that much control over this quite honestly. Louisville, A&M, Ole Miss, Tennessee ... even Arkansas and Mizzou, it's up to them to be ranked, not Bama. Bama plays the schedule they are dealt from the SEC offices just like all of us do.

So? Major opener every season. But plenty of future home and home series now that neutral site games have run their course.

You could also say that Bama has played a true home game against an OOC P5 opponent either.

Then what's it like being a Barner who knows you can beat Bama but they'll still go the playoffs anyway while y'all go get whipped by UCF?

We can't play the toughest schedule every year.

SEC schedules in the Top 10 SOS at seasons end.

One team is in the Top 10 all the way back through 2009:

2017
- AU #1
- BAMA #6
- UGA #7

2016
- BAMA #1
- LSU #4
- AU #7

2015
- BAMA #1
- UM #3
- LSU #5
- Ark #7
- MSU #9

2014
- AU #1
- BAMA #2
- UM #3
- Ark #4
- LSU #7
- MSU #10

2013
- AU #3
- BAMA #7
- UGA #10

2012
- BAMA #1
- UF #5
- MO #10

2011
- LSU #1
- BAMA #3
- Ark #8
- aTm #9

2010
- AU #1
- Ark #3
- BAMA #6
- USC #7
- LSU #8

2009
- BAMA #1
- UF #4
- LSU #6
- Ark #8

yeah I bet that is what he meant, but ooc teams want neutral site games and not two straight seasons of opening losses, by scheduling Bama home and away
