Petrino was involved in a consensual relationship with an employee. I get why Arkansas had to fire him, but in the ranking of fireable offenses, it is still pretty low. To compare this to what happened at Baylor is insane. This author should be ashamed of himself. Imagine telling the girls at Baylor, who were violently assaulted, that Petrino having a consensual relationship is on the same level.

This is so woke it’s hard to read. If I’m Aggie this matters not to me. I think Petrino is likely a piece of crap in his soul, and long term it will ultimately be bad for Jimbo. But short term it might be good.

I question how long he will be there. He once signed 20 yrs worth of contracts with three different teams (Louisville, Falcons and Arkansas) in a 12 month span. He just signed with UNLV a month ago and is now at A&M.

Nobody cared about Petrino being hired by Barry Odom at UNLV. No hit pieces, no sky screaming.

Is it possible to be more of a dramatic, self-righteous little bitch? That happened 11 years ago, and his wife didn't even divorce him. They worked it out. She could have cleaned him out over it. He got fired from his top paying SEC job, where he finished #5 just months prior and was on top of the world. He's been toiling away mostly at lower level shite jobs since then. Now he's not even a head coach. He paid very proportionately for his sin.
An entire decade and ruined career later, and he's "one of the most disgraceful to ever blow a whistle?" There are coaches who blew little boys along with their whistle. This guy was a middle-aged man going through a midlife crisis and the author is still viscerally disgusted 11 years later.
