You are probably right and I think we may allow it just so we don't have 3 permanent from the big 6. I am curious how hard we will push the issue after giving up our oldest rival in the first expansion.

Mizzou makes sense but USC and Vandy? Absolutely not. That makes zero sense. Arkansas should be: Mizzou, A&M and Ole Miss.

While SC would be a likely third option for UGA, UGA/UT has much more history to it.
UGA's played USC 74 games, played Clemson 65 games, played UTK 51 games.

UGA/USC & UGA/UTK have played a total of 30 SEC games against each other since 1992. you do the math on who has "much more history" and played Georgia more pre-1992.

Bama gets Tennessee Auburn and who’s the third?

Probably LSU. Tennessee is a rent-a-win for Bama and Auburn is trending in that direction with A&M ascent. They need at least one real permanent opponent that is a consistent good team.

Not gonna happen and I can tell you from powers that be. Bama doesn't consider that a must play game every year nor does the SEC. No way the SEC breaks up Bama-UT, Aub-UGA and Uf-UGA and if its pods it will be regional with teams close to one another in the same pods. LSU will definitely get Ole Miss due to the history of that game and I'm not talking about just the Cannon run, its way deeper than that. The SEC looks at LSU Ole Miss similarly to Aub-UGA and Bama UT. And, Thats been a good one pretty much every year I've ever watched it going back to the early 70's. LSU will get Ole miss, Arky and A&M and that makes sense. Those are "regional" games save maybe Ole miss which is a little out of the way but the SEC likes that A&M LSU game way more than you think.

The SEC and Big 10 have wanted no divisions for years.

In how many of those games were both UGA and UT ranked?

In how many of those games were both UGA and SC ranked?

While there have been more games with SC, there have been more big games with UT.

Why is why the SEC should keep divisions.

But as Sankey said, they want to ensure every team visits the other 13 in a 4 year period. You can’t do it with divisions.

Good.

This way everyone but three teams have the hope of ducking out on Wake Forest.

They have a reputation for scaring folks.

1. UGA - Definitely the biggest SEC game for South Carolina fans. There are also a ton of UGA fans along the Georgia-South Carolina border that would be upset if this wasn't an annual game anymore.
2. Florida
3. Kentucky
