3 permanent rivals. 5 rotating opponents. If the SEC were to do this, who are your 3 permanent rivals?
LSU: Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas A&M

Buddy, LSU won't get Bama.

Bama gets Tennessee Auburn and who’s the third?

UGA: Florida, Auburn, South Carolina (probably)

Probably State. Closest schools in conference, most played opponent, etc.

Y’all would rather play ole miss every year than LSU?

State would make more sense. I’d like to see Ole Miss though.
And yes, get your popcorn.

Alabama will get Auburn, Tennessee, and someone not named LSU. In this pod format, you can just get used to the idea of our teams being A&M, Ole Miss, and State. I hate it, but that's what's going to happen. I'd prefer they just add a 9th SEC game and have three rotating teams instead of two while keeping everything else the way it is. Pods are going to be a trainwreck IMO

Alabama is guaranteed Auburn and Tennessee, and you know that they're not going to be given another Big 6 school. Probably State.

LSU wants Bama to be their rival so bad but it’s just not happening

Vols Bama, Vandy, UK.

It's the only system that makes sense with all the teams in conferences now.

While SC would be a likely third option for UGA, UGA/UT has much more history to it.

LSU
Texas
One other present West member
Who knows what they are going to do. 16 teams is interesting.
First question will be are they continuing with an 8 game conference slate. Once that’s determined, will be easier to decide the set up.

Uof SC gets the UGA game. Border bash and not everyone can play the Vols.

SEC absolutely needs to do this as well
For UGA - Florida, Auburn and South Carolina
* I would probably rather have Ole Miss as our 3rd, but we would be the Gamecocks 1st choice, and they are much closer/make more sense…
