It would be nice if we could get the Missouri vs Kansas game back on the docket but I'm not sure they are willing to renew at this point.

It has been renewed my brother.

I'd love to see the AU/UT and AU/UF rivalries renewed.

pretty much none of those are actual "rivalries".

2 teams that are good that play each often doesn't make them rivals.

A part of OU fandom died when the big 12 expanded, Nebraska went to the opposite division, fell off and eventually left. A rivalry based on mutual respect like we had with Nebraska would fill a void, it may be Alabama, could be LSU or Georgia, but it would have to happen organically.

The thought of playing the Razorbacks every year is wild. They’re so close in proximity but we’ve never been truly associated on the field.

Yeah, it's strange. We have played regularly in baseball and basketball. Looking forward to it.

Any idea when this is going to happen? They are either having second-thoughts or just can make up their minds when to make the move. I have not heard anything that is official.

Although they’ve crushed us when it mattered, We have some pretty good recent history.

That home & away with the Tide was some of the best interactions with other fans I’ve ever had. Want to know why? They understand history and aren’t resentful bitches.

It’s gonna take more than one victory for Bama UGA to be a great rivalry

LSU/UT baseball will probably be a rivalry. Both teams competing for sole possession of 2nd place in number of championships. Basically number 1, because I don’t think they play baseball anymore in Trojan land.

This rivalry may become the most-watched series in the nation when it resumes. Hopefully, A&M has lost their jinx when facing the Longhorns since the series was paused. There is no other series that has as much interest and color as this one. Be glad that your school is part of it.

Agree with this. SEC West baseball is already so much fun. Now add another historically great program.

_______________

When Oklahoma AD was asked recently he said date is still 2025, but BYU plays a big 12 schedule 2023, and the other three new schools play a big 12 schedule 2024.....the AD then went on to say the biggest consideration was the scheduling of all sports in both the Big 12 and the SEC......

So my guess is 2024 a year ahead of schedule...enough time to get both conference schedules fixed and in place ....to go to 2025 seems like it would complicate things temporarily for the Big 12......

It was great to have a round robin in football and a double round robin in other sports and allowed for easy scheduling decisions................ I bet the negotiation on scheduling on the SEC side were intense

I am SO looking forward to this one. If they can make it annual, it has the potential to become the top modern rivalry in football.
