I dont think we really care whether you say we lost it or LSU won it.

The point is we were extremely embarrassed to lose to LSU, even on the road. We were so embarrassed, our entire coaching staff believed they were all totally fricked and would be fired. It took beating the #1 team in the country twice in 14 days to save them.

That is how embarrassing and bad we view a loss to LSU these days.

That's funny, because LSU feels the same way about Auburn...

Goes both ways. Losing to Auburn was the last straw for Les.

They were healthy for UGA(1) then Bama, but not for the SEC Championship. Tre Williams and Trey Matthews couldn't stay healthy all year. I also think C Davis was out for the LSU game. But this is still on coaching. No reason to only have one competent MLB. And why Gus didnt have another RB beside KJ is a mystery.

You've lost 11 of the last 17 and haven't won in BR since the Clinton administration

Gus is a mediocre coach. He’s really not much better than Orgeron. He got outcoached in the second half

flirted with Arkansas to get a raise anyway.

Every coach does this to get a raise.

Gus is the new Les.

He's not, but even if is I have confidence Auburn wouldn't fire him after a loss and follow it by hiring the dumbest available assistant coach out there.

He is though. His best season was a result of luck and flukes, just like Les.

And lol at thinking Auburn is guaranteed to make a good hire. You hired a fricking 5-19 coach after Tuberville.

We can play the What-If game all day too... what if Daniel Thomas doesn’t drop an easy INT before half?... what if Jeff Holland wraps up on 4th and Goal?... what if we just covered a fuking punt?

But that’s football man...

Eh, Gus is just incredibly inconsistent. I think Gus has much better highs as a coach, but probably lower lows than Orgeron. His coaching job in that second half was abysmal. LSU made some small adjustments, but nothing major enough that if we had even called a semi-competent offensive gameplan in the second half we still should have came away with a victory (not blowout as LSU played well, but we had a good enough lead).

For whatever reason, Gus doesn't seem to do well unless he feels he has nothing to lose.

Gus still didn't trust Stidham at that point. He thought a 20 point lead was enough and decided to take the foot off the petals. This is why AU fans are nervous about Stidham this year. He is the best QB in the SEC, but will Gus let him be ?

Jesus, you're a moron when it comes to anything Auburn related. You can't see through your hate.

Gus stepped in right after the disastrous 2008 season and made Chris fricking Todd a record breaking QB in 2009. He turned Nick Marshall into one of the most dangerous QB's in the country and has 1000yd rushers every season.

And won a national championship with him.

I rewatched that whole game a few weeks ago. That second half LSU D was easily the best it had played all of last year. They turned kerryons 6-9 yards a pop runs into 3 yarders and the secondary was absolutely lock down. Every one of stidhams passes in the second half the DBs were on the receivers like glue there was no separation. One of Kevin tolliver and Dante Jackson’s best games

The offense couldn’t do shite. Without chark and gage playing the best games of their careers we don’t win that game. Our running game was non existent outside of a couple decent guice runs. Chark went and got a couple 50/50 jump balls and had the punt return and gage had those 2 big plays before the half that sparked us

Thanks to Cam.

I may be a moron but I'm just repeating a lot of the things I've seen Auburn fans say about Gus, especially in 2015, 2016 and last year after you lost to LSU.

We have won 8 of the last 11 vs auburn and they haven’t won in TS since 1999.

Yeah, we have some dumbass fans. It appeared that Gus learned his lesson about letting his foot off the gas after the LSU game last year, considering we shitstomped our way through the rest of the schedule including Alabama and Georgia.
