We can play the What-If game all day too... what if Daniel Thomas doesn’t drop an easy INT before half?... what if Jeff Holland wraps up on 4th and Goal?... what if we just covered a fuking punt?

Its almost like you're trying to say the "what-if" game can go both ways.

Which was already the point of that post you quoted.

he choked at the beginning of the season with Clemson and your dumb arse team. We beat two #1 teams at the end of the 2017 season.

Gus choked in the post season with an injury depleted team,

He is though. His best season was a result of luck and flukes, just like Les

He beat two #1 teams in a row to win the west last season.

And lol at thinking Auburn is guaranteed to make a good hire. You hired a fricking 5-19 coach after Tuberville.

That won a national championship. Besides that AD works for Florida now. Gus at least gives AU chance, Coach O will never do that.

I'll take a fluke loss to LSU with a run to Atlanta. Nice win, though. Too bad you guys couldn't put it together for Troy.

And yet both of those teams went on to play for a national championship while Auburn lost to a team with a one-handed LBer. Why is that?

fluke

Does adding this word magically make the loss less painful?

I have to believe it helps given how often auburn loses to LSU.

20 point come backs aren't flukes Winning on hail mary's and returned field goals are flukes. Winning 10 consecutive games at home and 11 of the last 17 is not a fluke. A run to Atlanta doesn't mean shite if you're not lifting the trophy at the end. That's Ole Miss level self validation.

Well, Alabama is Alabama and UGA won the SEC Championship. You remember the SEC Championship, don't you? It's been a while for you guys and not looking like you will see one anytime soon.

This is boring now. LSU fans chestbeating over a season where they lost to Troy, got blown out by Mississippi State, and demolished by Alabama. Eaux, how the mighty have fallen.

Let them have their fun. I know Gus can derp it up sometimes, but I also know his ceiling is a lot higher than that shitshow Orgeron and Esminger are going to be running there for the forseeable future.

Plus craig has a major hardon for Auburn trying to impress his ag buttbuddy.

I don't know, maybe ask everyone in 2013 who used it. They have much more experience with it.

No shite dude. Our program is a mess.

I'm not trolling when I say there are resemblances between Gus now and when Les's final decline began. 2012 LSU choked vs Bama late in the season yet he still got a raise and extension. He was never close to elite after that and look where we are now. Auburn is heading down that same path.

I honestly feel bad for you guys. This time last year most of you were about done with Gus and now you've done a complete 180.

Orgeron is the kind of coach who isn’t good enough to be consistent but will rule up his talented team like that, occasionally.

I expect him to be inconsistent, but get some big wins, like that game.

Pump the brakes. Nobody has done a 180. I think we are realistic in what we can expect from Gus. But I think what he offers is better than the unknown, knowing that he is capable of competing for the SEC and the NC when he doesn't get in the way.

Deflection.

Troy has been more competitive in Tiger Stadium this millennium.

I light my cigar for Troy.

They are worthy.
