In a year that 3/4 of the SEC fired their coach? No.

3 teams in the top 6 and 6 ranked teams is terrible?

This. Those 2 teams were so dominant it was scary.

And 2012 Alabama would beat all of them.

Lulzy. 2011. The year of the 2 most overrated teams in college football history.
I've never seen a team get so much credit for beating an injured Tyler Wilson (with no RB support) and Jordan Jefferson once in two tries.

While those two teams had dominant seasons, both would have left Jordan Hare with a loss in these last 3 weeks of 2017.

Nope. However, if AU somehow runs the table, this will probably be the greatest run in NCAA football history. I doubt any team has ever had to not only beat as many top 5 teams in a 6 game streak, but never would have to beat potentially 3 #1 teams out of 6 games to win a Championship.
If it happens, and that is a very big if, it will easily go down as probably the greatest run ever.

Counts for something, for sure
I wouldn't go that far.
They have played 4 teams ranked in the AP top 25 and won 3 of those.
@ #3 Clemson
#24 Mississippi St
#1 Georgia
#1 Alabama
2011 LSU played 9 and won 8 of those
#3 Oregon
@ #25 Mississippi St
@ #16 West Virginia University
#17 Florida
#19 Auburn
@ #2 Alabama
#3 Arkansas
#12 Georgia
#2 Alabama
Obviously they'll play more if they win this week. But if we are counting SEC Championship and playoff games 2016 Bama takes home the toughest schedule with 9 wins over ranked teams.

Is this a joke?
I am an LSU fan, and will say: They lost to a 3 loss LSU team who lost to Troy.
GTFOH with this nonsense.

What hurts your argument is that the entire season counts and matters. Yes, Auburn is definitely peaking right now, but they were not great earlier.

No. When they met in Nov 2011, the world almost exploded.

Isn't 2011 Alabama lauded for beating an injured Tyler Wilson at home (with no Knile Davis) and beating Jordan Jefferson once in two tries?
Hell, you played Florida, Tennessee and Vanderbilt from the East, who combined to win 6 SEC games all year. You literally qualified for the BCS championship game by beating one SEC team with a winning record in conference.
Kent State
North Texas
Penn State
Florida (3-5)
Tennessee (1-7)
Vanderbilt (0-8)
Ole Miss (0-8)
Mississippi State (2-6)
Georgia Southern (lulzy)
Auburn (4-4)
The difference between 2011 Bama and 2017 Auburn is that Auburn actually won the West, lost on the road to LSU instead of at home, actually played the best team in the East, and played an OOC opponent in Clemson that would absolutely annihilate Peen State.
This team would embarrass Jordan Jefferson. Embarrass him.

Dude, not even the best Auburn team of the past 20 years.

Yeah I'm not really arguing the GOAT thing. Just saying that we have been a force at home these last few weeks.

Not even the best two-loss team in SEC history... get back to us when you win the national championship.
