They look really good, but nowhere near the best team in SEC history.

No, the future NFL MVP wouldn't be worried one bit by a 2011 LSU defense, knowing the other team had Jordan Jefferson at QB.
He'd be able to keep it conservative and put up 21-28 points, knowing LSU's offense likely wouldn't score more than 3-7.
Very bad matchup for 2011 LSU.

Also, JJ was the starter for 2010 LSU which Cam barely beat. What the frick is different about facing the 2011 LSU team except everything about them being better that year?

IMO, the best team in SEC history is between:
2004 AU and 2012 Bama,
with 2011 Bama having a case as well.

That was a dogfight which was tied until 5 mins left in the game?
Mercy kneeling can happen in 1 pt games, still means you barely beat them.

Not even the best SEC team this decade.

They already havr 2 Ls this team may not even even be the best SEC team this season.

Our 2004 team was better
They had a better record. I don't think I've ever seen an Auburn team play better than I have this last six weeks or so, and I've been watching since the 80's. I can't say this is the best AU team ever, because you have to take the whole season record into account, but look at everything from the margin of victory, to the quality of opponents, to the absolute domination on defense. I challenge you to pick even a single game where Auburn has played better than they're playing right now. Maybe... MAYBE... the 2010 SECCGG, but that defense wasn't nearly as good.

What was better about them other than losing Patrick Peterson and not facing Cam Newton?
2010 LSU was 11-1 against teams not named "Auburn".

We outgained them 526 yards to 243 yards, including 440 yards rushing. Literally 300 more yards of offense and a straight raping in the rush game.
We were never threatened and kneeled the ball at the LSU 5-yard line to end the game.
Sorry we didn't kick a FG to make it look even worse?
Amazing how many people here don't understand college football.

The score was close, but the WAY Cam scored was stunning. He just ran right over the corndogs.
