Something that many fans on here have praised him for not doing.
Its almost like this quote is directly from BK:
“We were in the market, in the transfer portal, looking for defensive linemen. It hasn’t fared very well, quite frankly, because we are selling something a little bit differently. And that is, we want to recruit. We want to engage, build relationships. We want to develop, retain, and have success. We’re not in the market of buying players. … And unfortunately, right now, that’s what some guys are looking for. They want to be bought. … We’re not going to go out and buy players.”
So which one is it? We've been swinging and missing or we been saving up?
Under the Cap

With the glaring holes in our roster and overall substandard performance as a program, why would Kelly highlight that they have "stayed under the cap" seemingly intentionally.
Was this year just a wash from the jump? Just coach speak for yeah with underwood out we have play money?
I legitimately dont understand the way BK handles his press conferences and the narratives of his program.

Ehh this is dumb and a huge stretch that there is a any real correlation here.

I didnt even know South Carolina fans were permitted to talk trash in the SEC anymore. I forgot yall existed.

Define exceptional regular season...
Playing a soft schedule and going undefeated?
Remember ND getting blown out by Bama?

1 - LSU fans have to genuinely believe in the lead up and during the game that they can actually lose. Maybe not necessarily an underdog but that losing is a legit and very real possibility
We were home underdogs.

Not after the revelation that is Emory Jones. Our tackle spots are now secured for the next 2/3 years. As a result, our bigger less athletic guys can play inside. As long as we can get the timing issue with the center fixed, OL is about to be a huge strength of this team.
Good to hear, Im not keen enough on who the guys were as players to know if we were truly set up for success with the pipeline.
Daniels Legs and the Offensive Line
Posted by TigerFan4040 on 9/21/22 at 8:15 am
Was thinking this morning how much Daniels legs are going to end up masking the issues were facing with offensive line for the next guy who may step in.
For all you QB/scheme experts out there, Im genuinely curious how his ability to escape the pocket and run will end up setting the next guy up for success given his ability to escape pressure-- is it creating a false sense of OL success that will blow up in the next guys face who may not be as mobile?

Maybe so- good replies in this thread, I guess I have ptsd on how toxic this fanbase can be and don't want to see local guys pushing a narrative that will cause more division/issues than we already have.

I dont mind him actually, I just hate bullshite. Im no sports analyst, but even I could see QB was down on the list of things that truly affected the outcome of that game.
Blocking
Tackling
Coverage Breakdowns on 3rd Down
Special Teams
Dropped Passes

The problem with Moscona is, he isnt asking because he thought Jayden Daniels was not getting the job done, he was asking to stir shite, get clicks, and get the ever-present "bench the starter" class of CFB fans
Bingo.
