The sick thing is that that LSU D was so good we were still in the game until that Richardson TD.

No they didn’t. Alabama still needed over three more quarters to get in the end zone. They shredded most teams they played in 2011. LSU was just that bad on offense

No, actually it was one of the poorest for Alabama. LSU beat Alabama 9-6 mostly due to Alabama missing FGs the entire game, and a bad int call at the goal line. LSU's defense in the BCS game was still very good, but it was obvious that Alabama was the better team in both games.
