Off the Jell-O shots they are making some money.

It’s all the advertising where they are making a killing.
I can only watch on Squeeze play and they are fricking me up having TCU/Indiana St on at the same time

Sam Houston maybe? I know they are no slouch but Oregon St has to have the better hitting.

No clue about SHSU pitching depth though.

You’re in mid season form already
If you want a quick, expensive way just use milorganite. If you want to do it right, follow ronk’s advice.

My wife used to teach 2nd grade at a private school. The stories she would tell me were pretty funny. One of the funniest things was that majority of the kids would come out of the confessional looking for a bathroom because they were about to pee themselves from being so nervous.

You have to let the wildflowers go to seed before cutting them back so it looked a little rough for a month/6 weeks.

What is the process for cutting them back after seeds have formed and dropped? Do you cut high on a lawn mower or are you going in and doing a hand cut a little higher?

I have the OKJ 3in1 which has a small offset smoke chamber.

I had the same one for years. Really, the only way I was able to get a half decent brisket on it was to make a U with coals in the offset starting and ending on the door side. Also, since that big chamber didn't seal well, I'd add a water pan under the brisket. This really only lasted until it hit the stall, then I'd just wrap and finish in the oven.

An ambient temp probe and water pan with that thing is a must. It will take you a few tries to figure out how wide to make your coal base so it gets hot enough in the big chamber.

I've told my wife I will never live south of I-10 again.

Has anyone tried planting a wildflower patch in their yard?

Along the side of my house, the grass doesn't fill in great. Combo of my grass being bermuda and that area receiving sun for half the day and the soil pretty much being fill dirt. It is a long stretch going to the fence that is just a big bare brick wall you see when driving up.

I'm thinking of either trying to do a mini wildflower patch there to add some color or planting some native azaleas that may enjoy the afternoon shade.

I don’t think it’s going to take a couple of seasons.

It shouldn't. Push it with nitrogen and cut low/often and you should have a full yard in no time assuming no drought.

I went from bare yard moving in (new construction, added 12 loads of dirt) to full yard within 1 summer using seed.

Well if you had problem with broadleaf weeds, grassy weeds and sedges, and didn’t have either Celsius or Sedgehammer, as the case of the OP, then I’d say yes it’s worth it. But I have nearly a full bottle of Sedgehammer already, but I’m running low on Celsius (year 5 on original bottle) so I’ll buy just Celsius, not the Xtra, when I run out.

Thanks. I have one main weed problem (other than burweed) but can't figure out what it is. I've brought it here before but wasn't able to get an answer. I'll try again though.

Most of the honey bees should be on the tallows these next few weeks.

Need this rain to stop. I did see a few coming and going this evening though.

Is there any good sources showing general bloom/nectar flow dates in Louisiana? I’ve been curious on when the tallow flow would start.
