That game only went to OT because Alabama missed 3 field goals.
How many did LSU miss?

He can agree all he wants. That was an easy call and they got it right. This is coming from someone that pisses off LSU fans for trying to be too objective. That was a very clear interception.
Nope, wrong call, but it is in the past.

I'm curious what makes you say that the call was wrong.

I’d have worried about a special teams break going for LSU allowing them some momentum. It was a two score game late and anything can happen.
I’ve never seen a defense hung out to dry worse than the 2011 LSU defense in that game.

Exactly. TM7 turned around the games against Arky and UGA single handedly. We ran out of luck that game

It's a tough call and I don't bitch about it to much because a player really needs to hold on to the ball and remove all doubt.
I think it was taken away after he was down. But it was so quick it's kind of a call that could have gone either way.

CitrusU reliving the good old days! Sad!

OK y’all can have him, the rest of college football will take TM7
Sounds fair to me.

I know it wouldn’t have mattered because the scheme was terrible, but that whole season Jefferson and Lee played just good enough to let the defense and running game run away from most teams. Meanwhile the best qb of the Miles era stood on the sidelines and hardly played.

Mett wasn’t ready yet tbh

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Bama/LSU game in 2012 (particularly the second half) really his break out game?

He played extremely well that game. He’d been the starter for a few games already

Yeah I just looked at his game log. He seemed to play well against OOC teams, ok against SEC teams, and kinda took off after the Alabama game.

I think that's where he really showed just how tough he was and that he was actually capable of playing with the big boys. He got pummeled in that game and was basically on one leg by the end of the game.

LSU beat Alabama 9-6 mostly due to Alabama missing FGs the entire game
Yeah, because you kept trying to kick them from halfway across the field.
