-26 is a lot of points for UGA to cover

I don't really see our offense coming out of the gates on fire.
With a new offense being installed without spring practice, and what seems like will be a redshirt freshman quarterback who hasn't taken a snap in a college game yet, I can imagine we score a touchdown in the first half but have to settle for a few field goals and take a 13-0 lead into the half.
I think that the offense will find it's rhythm in the third quarter and score a couple of touchdowns and then add a field goal in the fourth.
Arkansas will probably get a TD of its own at some point in the second half, and UGA wins 30-7 or something to that effect.

Yeah, I got us winning by 20-25 or so. 24-3, 27-7, 30-10, something like that.

If the spread is 26, that is too high, imo.

14-24 point win would be good. Want to see how Mathis is improvising a bit. Can’t wait to see new WRs and the pass rush.

I could see UGA winning by 4 TDS. I don’t see the total getting over 51 though. Too much running the ball by both teams.

I could see this being similar to the opener vs Vandy last year. Got up early, shut it down, and only scored 30. I would like to see something better than that but with a first time starting QB and the first game under a new OC, it won't look great at times.

Since there are no OOC cupcakes I think they'll keep their foot on the gas pedal to see what they can do and what they need to work on.

Harry Rex and MOT have been steady fire on this subject.

Arky is going to score more points than y'all think.

UGA will try to run the ball early and often to establish solid football with JT. Mix in the easy throws TEs and take a shot down field in favorable situations. Kirby will lean on the defense.
At some point in game it will be a 3rd and 3 around the midfield, the old Kirby would just run it off tackle and easily pick up the easy first but neglect a one on one situation with 9 in the box that could break games open in the first half.
Let's see if he has evolved a bit.

I am picking Arky and the points, but there is an old adage in gambling, "the masses are asses"
and the Razorbacks have been really bad the last couple of years
I would not touch this game with an actual bet, IF UGA can pile on and run up the score, Kirby will do it
this one could go either way (as far as the spread is concerned)

Arkansas will be more geared towards toughness and the trenches this year.
UGA wont walk in there and dust them.
27-13 UGA or something to that effect. Youll see a toughness you didnt see last year.

That is absolutely not going to happen. Kirby doesn't do this against coaches he doesn't like. He sure isn't going to do it to Pittman.

I think Arkansas covers. Arkansas has more talent than people think. Bringing in an experienced QB in Franks and having one of the best RB's in conference in Boyd will do wonders.
Briles will have them ready to go. Our issue will be defense. Odom has improved us in that regard, but the talent isn't there like it is with the offense.
UGA will probably win by 3TD's, but Hogs will make it look somewhat respectable unlike previous years.

Yeah I actually can see us putting up a decent amount of points this year. The problem is we won't see a defense as good as this one very often. I think we have more weapons on offense than people realize though.
On the other side UGA has a ton of newness on offense which may lead to growing pains but our defense was so awful last year it may not matter if they aren't improved. I can see it being a fairly low scoring game and then UGA pulls away in the 3rd quarter and wins by 21 or so. Which all things considered wouldn't be a bad showing for Pittman.
If we do get blown out by more than that I just hope that we don't completely give up and lay down like we did under Morris.

Arkansas 20
Georgia 10
Better luck next year.

It is, but Arkansas will not be able to slow down Georgia's run game at all. Eventually the dam will break and Georgia will have multiple huge runs and break the game open.
I'm thinking Georgia - 34 Arkansas - 7 barely covering spread

They gave up over 30 to all but 2 SEC opponents in 2019. Gave up 45 to W Kentucky.
Just don't see them improving this early in the season.
You gotta have the players at some point.
