Yep common sense that is why a lot other teams have not a clue how to work the portal.. People thinking Lane just going after 1 year players when he is not reason we can have more then one and done seasons.. Lane has master the portal and they are mad.

I don’t know. I’m happy he gave his all at LSU but he got torched a lot over the years. And I mean a lot. But steeples was a terrible secondary coach. I think we were all hoping Corey Raymond would elevate him and while he did improve, Ryan was cooked a lot this season too.
I seriously doubt LSU told him to walk but if he wanted an NIL raise I’m sure we told him to kick rocks.
Personally if Womack is disciplined and puts the time in I think he’s going to be a way better player for Ole Miss.

Abrupt change of subject here but Dante Dowdell committing to Kentucky brought this to mind. I’ve heard many vague references over the years to a handler in Picayune( I assume the high school coach) who steers Picayune kids away from Ole Miss. The people that reference this never elaborate or confirm who the handler is. Anyone care to explain this to me.

Picayune isn’t even really MS anyway, seems like we never get anyone from there

Not a coach. I think he's a cop. It's Dowdell's stepdad.
ETA: or Dante's real dad is a cop. I forget. But Dowdell's stepdad is the handler for the Yune kids.
