Makes sense. Get someone with college experience with good results, have them for multiple years and continue to develop them, then go grab a few one year all-stars (Princely and Nolen). It’s a way to utilize the portal while avoiding drop offs like Florida State had

All these announcements keep saying that these transfers have signed. I know transfers used to not sign anything and weren’t locked in until they attended classes at their new school. Did that change?

That’s just on3’s wording. They also say “committed” on the graphic. You’re right in that they aren’t official until first day of class.

Something I like really like about this cat from UAB. He started out as a pretty low 3 star kid but that rating has gone up considerably which is not necessarily the norm with a lot of these transfers. We sure need wheel barrow drivers in the OL.
