Maybe it’s Inside Wide Receivers? There’s been renewed hope from the cow humpers this morning that they’re landing Washington. Maybe the leak yesterday blew that up.

Judkins was a head case, with main character syndrome, who was always going to transfer at least once regardless of what school he started at. In the case of Lacy, in the transfer portal era, players are usually tied to their position coach. Lacy is at Ole Miss because of Kevin Smith. Kevin was always gonna end up at LSU, but getting officially hired has been complicated by the Frank Wilson situation. LSU wants to keep Frank but he wants an on field role and Kiffin isn’t willing to give him one. Wilson is also the interim coach. Kiffin has to run Frank off before he can officially hire Kevin Smith. You can bet that both Smith and Kiffin have been in Lacy’s ears for months now about following them wherever they ended up whether that was Florida or LSU. It’s not some systemic issue where we(or Kevin Smith) can’t keep running backs. It’s just bad luck for us.

Riley isn’t coming, Dilly might be a possibility if we give him enough money and NIL commitment. I think we should make Dilly say no and then go after Eric Morris.

Abrupt change of subject here but Dante Dowdell committing to Kentucky brought this to mind. I’ve heard many vague references over the years to a handler in Picayune( I assume the high school coach) who steers Picayune kids away from Ole Miss. The people that reference this never elaborate or confirm who the handler is. Anyone care to explain this to me.

I think we’ll get Perkins for a couple more years.I don’t think NFL GM’s are clamoring to draft a 210 lb edge rusher. He’s an outside linebacker who hasn’t actually played the position yet and he needs to put on another 25 lbs or so. I would assume he’ll be slotting into Pooh Pauls role now or at least getting a lot of reps at outside backer while continuing to be used as an edge rusher.
