Actually, Ole Miss finished this season ranked #33 in scoring, to go along with #122 ranking for time of possession.

If you want to breakdown the redzone issues, then we have the following:

Redzone possessions: 54
Redzone passing TDs: 7
Redzone rushing TDs: 20
Redzone FGs: 21

So, we ended up kicking FGs 39% of RZ possessions.
We scored TDs 50% of RZ possessions.

The Auburn game comment was more sarcasm than anything. Regardless, two entirely different situations.

redzone issues
We've had the same issues since 2012.. Longo is a shite coach but let's not pretend the red zone issues are a new phenomenon. I believe it's just a product of the offense we've chosen to run just as time of possession is. We score and have always scored on big plays. I believe Jeffrey pulled a stat earlier this year that said we had only had 1 drive since 2012 that was like 10 plays or more iirc. We never have any semblance of ball control.

Hardly.. You went back and deleted your original post in that thread after I called you out but it was you once again saying how you don't support any of the coaches or players. Which is funny considering you've said multiple times you wish Freeze was back.

Either way you don't support anybody at ole miss.. Doesn't seem like you've been a fan since the sugar bowl.

Outside of like 2 years we don’t have the depth on defense to run this kind of offense. I blame this season more on Longo than anybody else.

Any idea what site was used for that? I'm not sure how to go back to gather the stats from back that far.

If I had to guess Pro Football Focus. I know they partner with Rivals now and I'm sure they still let Jeffrey use it.

2014: 56.1%
2015: 59.7%
2016: 54.4%
2017: 55.8%
2018: 50%

Metcalf had an inside release vs LSU? 2. Imagine having a weapon like that, sticking him strictly on the left side, on the numbers, with only outside releases and asking him to run a nine, a hitch or a comeback all game vs best secondary in country. “Greedy blanketed DK!” Wanna know why? Every route was the same. For Greedy, just Open to the sideline and run. Knew what was coming every play bc Ole Miss is so predictable. Took their own best player out of the game with poor scheme quote:and route combinations almost never complement each other or put any defensive back in conflict.

This is just embarrassing.

And Ole Miss being 16th nationally in assistant coach pay is even more absurd. Overpaid and underperforming. That's how you get fired in my world. Not at Ole Miss. No, you win five and get a seven figure extension.

Who pays for that?

Certainly not me. I will be contributing $0 until the administration shows me that they are committed to winning.

This is why Bjork has to go. He is horrible in salary negotiations. We would be better off hiring an outside consultant to conduct all contract and salary negotiations.

Hard to negotiate when desperate

Remember the complete sham that was the most recent Head Coaching search conducted by 3rd party firm and subsequent hire? We are too incompetent to even hire an average consulting entity.

Ledyard dropping more evaluations today, here is his order:

quote:

I've finished formal evals on 7 WRs so far. This is how they stack up.

D.K. Metcalf

DaMarkus Lodge
A.J. Brown
Deebo Samuel
Emmanuel Hall

Anthony Johnson

Hunter Renfrow

Only Renfrow is day 3 grade right now, although Johnson could fall into day 3 depending on testing/SR Bowl

we will look back as old men and tell stories about how stacked this team was and how we couldn’t score

Thanks for the update express. We all knew offensively this was a disaster and knew the kids weren't learning anything at all for their pro careers. Hopefully we get a real offensive coordinator now and the kids learn something. We do have some good receivers in the pipeline, no linebackers but stacked a receivers!
