You all played with all the heart I would have expected out of Arky. We had a lot more defensive talent the last two years but played it completely wrong and now it is starting to show when played correctly. You all will not lose all your SEC games this year, that’s my prediction. You are young, not untalented. Good luck the rest of the way. I will be pulling for you now.

I will try this rationally. I have not seen insider, square, dories, etc. specifically push for more time. Not one and if there is then I missed that. Now give him a chance is entirely different expression and doesn’t mean give him more time. Conflating the terms is the real issue here Henry. Giving someone a chance when there is absolutely nothing we can do about it is the essence of the rift. To me not giving someone a chance when that is our only option is not reasonable. Apparently to you it is and that’s fine but please stop placing me, insider, dories, et al in the first category (give more time) and accept our differences when we choose to give somebody a chance when all other options are off the table!

I have been holding off till I could watch replays etc. Some observations;
1) Defense is much better or at least sound and this real defensive system will allow our better defensive talent to be able to show some
2) Luke to me had 2 critical mistakes last Saturday both on penalties; the Drummond Hold which turns into an interception and no repsonse from Luke was a huge huge mistake! Sure it wouldn't have made a difference on that play but the clear replay could make the refs begin to watch closer to what was happening to us. Same with the Williams non roughing called roughing. The refs have to know we saw it and He will point it out every time! No response from hank, land-arse, or tiger shart as you were too worried about looking down, wtf is that.
3) Corral is anything but a pretty boy Patterson. The high throws I attribute to a new kid jacked up and that will settle but he has a couple of games to learn ow to get that under control.
4) Bicknell was not pleased at all! It showed in his demeanor during the press conference amd we may miss blocks but we won't be walking through them much anymore. His answers were solid and I believe they will get better week to week. He has been a fine line coach.

Other takeaways that nobody is mentioning; Memphis OLine was all returning seniors and I believe they would have put 60 on us, easy lat year. The over under was 60 and ended being 25. Our Defense will keep us in games this year which is refreshing. We will see this weekend but I have been saying we had a hell of a lot more d talent than we knew, just played completely wrong.

Ealy - that opening kick off return last wee, if we had blocked it could have gone big. I say unless the ball is 8 plus deep return everything and let Ealy do his magic, that's where he can really shine.

Final point - we have 4 Outstanding quarterbacks so let's run with no more sliding, Play football. Sliding gets them hurt a lot more it seems to me, Just run when you run, Kelly did and I loved it. Can anybody ever imagine Archie Sliding? If they all play because the guy ahead is dinged up then so be it, next.

Luke could earn a lot of respect by being vocal about bad calls even if thrown out of the game! I did it and it worked and we won.

Let's just put Rice in thier own national category and say the rest of Texas. I would have put the edge in a lot of fields to Aggie and that includes petroleum enginnerring. I worked with a lot of Aggies, good hands, real Americans. Totally agreed! This actually should be a fun game to watch as I think both teams believe absolutely that they can win. A real gut check football game. I'll join you during the game, if not here I will check the piggy boad.

I have to totally agree here. I was not a Luke supporter but landmass, Henry etc have really not been fair at all! I was probably in this argument before most of you were born. Bob Tyler was Vaughts pick when people like you wanted bruiser at the time! I see more of the old boy network in you than I do the reality. I am old enough to remember when Ole Miss was feared and nobody wanted us on their schedule. Freeze was good but he was no Johnny Vaught!, I met Johnny Vaught at a game with my daddy in the sixties. My daddy was a huge LSU fan and his favorite coach was Vaught! My daddy could seperate ability from rivals which is why he brought me to meet Vaught! He also did that with bear Bryant in the 60's. My daddy said Vaught was the best coach he ever watched! Is Matt Luke in that arena? No one knows! Well AOC knows and landmass and Henry know!
Again I did not support the Luke decision but I will give hm a chance! This is his first year withhis staff. Yes freeze dicked this up and I was opposed to him as I had a favorite choice andit wasn't freeze. He did good but he fell into a pile of successful recruits I never thought he was the answer, I met Johnny Vaught and he is no Johnny Vaught! I sayweekly have had smite ally crap coaches and Matt Luke isn't there yet, I love his hires now let's see the product.

I personally think the coordinators influence Jackson to either dig in or let up on players. Our last two coordinators were let up guys and I don't think what we have now are let up guys. Rich Rods comments last week were we are playing summer football we will have to be in shape for that.
