I don’t think Freeze’s heart is all the way in it like he was when he was here. He looks absolutely miserable anytime you see him. He was more his old self at Liberty than he is now. He grew up an Ole Miss fan and it’s literally his dream job. I don’t think he’s happy there. I think the stress that’s been put on him is too much for him to handle.

Plus, Auburn has a lot of shite behind the scenes that hamper them. Harsin left them in a much bigger hole than people realize.

Still doesn’t excuse having Thorne as his starter

Y’all are definitely sleeping on Kentucky. They’re very physical up front and are running more of a spread offense. That’s the only game we could lose out of the first 6. South Carolina is the worst team in the SEC this year.

Is Hudson Wolfe hurt again? Haven’t noticed him out there yet and just saw a walk-on tight end get a catch.

It would be nice to see Duece Knight tell Auburn to buzz off eventhough they are offering him more cash.

Lane said it was his decision to not play Nolen after he left the game. Nolen was walking fine after the game. I’m concerned about the secondary but we won’t play a good QB til LSU. We won’t find out anything about this team til that LSU game. South Carolina and Kentucky aren’t going to be much of test for this defense.

I'm salivating over our offense versus the LSU defense.

This is so accurate. He's underachieved in every area when you compare his Auburn stint to his first 2 years at Ole Miss.

Dude didn't even really go after QBs in the portal. You telling me they couldn't have lured Shapen is the really wanted to?

Do people not forget we had plenty of wtf games under Freeze. His best team lost to Florida 38-10, lost to a Memphis team they had no business losing to, and a double overtime game against Arkansas. Every year he will have a couple of games his team will play out of their minds like the Georgia and Bama games last year. They also lost to New Mexico State last year. His teams have always been inconsistent and it’s why Auburn will fire him in a couple of years.

I mean, losing to the Florida (who won the East that year) at night in The Swamp and to a 10 win Memphis team that had a first round QB is a lot more understandable than losing to Cal and New Mexico State at home. Yeah we shouldn’t have lost those games but it’s not like those two teams were totally incapable

Florida won the East in 15 too.

But yes, Freeze’s teams are prone to drop a head-scratching absolute turd of a game from time to time.

If will grier gets busted for steroids 3 weeks earlier, we go undefeated in 2015.

If I remember correctly the test results came out the week before our game in the Swamp. Florida had the paperwork in their hands. But they instigated some sort of appeals process. Or asked for a confirmation test of the B sample or something. And then they announced the suspension a few days after our game.

That might not be right but that's how I remember it

I know we haven't played anyone, but 9.21 yards per play on offense is actually insane.
