Waffle House and it's not close.

Patty Melt with hash browns covered, smothered and scattered.

If you stole an auto mechanic's dirty grease towel, wiped down a Taco Bell toilet and flossed a 450 pound man's arse crack with it and proceeded to wring it out over a wet bag of flour, that's about what Waffle House tastes like.

I always make an extra baked potato and a petite filet/ribeye/strip and make hash browns the next morning.

Hash browns with onion and bell pepper steak or bacon (or both) covered in cheese with an over easy egg is a hangover cure and a moutgasm to boot.

Big Bad Breakfast.

Substitute that biscuit for a pancake.

As much as I like my adventures in Dixie and stopping at a waffle house... IHOP is much better food.

I didn't know you had to be drunk to go to these places.

Waffle House drunk
IHOP sober

If I'm not drunk I usually go with something better.

ETA: I'll at least preface in saying I live in a big enough city that there's no good reason to go to IHOP or Waffle House unless you're drunk and there's nothing else open (which is pretty rare here). Too many good, local greasy spoons to settle for those IMO.

IHOP

Irrelevent because Baton Rouge has Louie's and New Orleans has Camellia Grill.
