Waffle House.
Love the diner atmosphere & there are usually very interesting late night clientele.

They also have really great coffee, and I love their ham & cheese omelets and grits.

Every time I eat at one, no matter where or what time, I have a really cool, more "mature" waitress who calls everyone "sweetie," "hun," or "baby," and sounds like she's smoked for 40 years.
Usually, they are 100x better servers than the much younger ones. They actually are knowledgable about the food, give a shite about the quality of service, and never let my coffee get cold.

But why do all of them have dandruff and a big mole that they try to cover up with mer rouge?

I've never noticed any quite that hideous, but I'm probably more interested in their quality of service, not so much their looking like Hooters girls. I don't care if they have warts on their noses as long as they get my order right and are pleasant.

Don't have to be Hewter gulls, but they could get those moles lopped off and wash their hair bi-monthly..

Is it me, or does every IHOP seem to have a light maple syrup film on every surface in the place? I feel sticky as soon as I sit down at one, which isn't very often.

Given the choice, I pick Waffle House.

No, but the one closest to me has a not so faint aroma of vomit as soon as I walk in the door, so that isn't very often.

That's a shame about that Piccadilly. I remember eating there as a kid and it was really good. There's only one here that's decent anymore. I hate that, too, because I enjoy a good cafeteria restaurant.

When I want my breakfast without a side of racial sauce, I go to Waffle House.

When I want my breakfast in less than 30 minutes, I go to Waffle House.

I say no to IHOP.
