Alabama being number 2 is pretty ridiculous.

So we are ahead of Ohio State who lost to 4th ranked Oregon by 7, while we lost to 2 loss aTm.
Oregon has 1 loss and they beat 5th ranked Ohio State.
So exactly why are we at number 2?
Does anyone think that we would be 2nd if we weren't named Alabama?
And don't give me the benefit of the doubt nonsense.
What does last years team have to do with this years team?
Last I checked our 2020 qb is starting for the Patriots and our heisman winning wr is in Philly.

What's Ohio State's best win? Also, the Oregon loss was at home vs the A&M loss on the road. Probably Michigan St should be 2, Bama 3 and Oregon 4.

No, and I don’t think a sane person would say they aren’t a top 4 team and that will play out in the end but do wins and losses not matter anymore for these rankings. Multiple undefeated power 5 teams, a 1 loss tOSU whose only lost was to the #4 team. You have to admit, based on resume alone it doesn’t make much sense right now. But again it will work itself out, always does.
