BAMA would be a double digit favorite on a neutral field vs any of the top 10 with the exception of UGA.

BAMA would only be favored vs UGA BY -8.5.

Are you speaking of their game with Mercer, their game with Southern Mississippi, or their upcoming game with new Mexico State. Tell me more about Alabama's tough schedule.

It's probably the Miami game that put them over the top.

Anybody, even bama fans, who think they don't get preferential treatment is lying to themselves. Hell, bama got a chance to play for a NC when they didn't even win their own division. On paper, bama is the best team in the nation every year. The results of games played has to matter.

I understand your logic but I think the committee is just using common sense… Bama would boat race those other teams on a neutral field

Bama is likely to move down after the outcome of the OSU/MSU game anyway. Just got to win out which I think will be a tall order this year

This is where logic fails you. BAMA is the best team on the field every year. Even when they don't make it, check their record, no team in America can compare to BAMA's football record "ON THE FIELD" year in and year out.

Go ahead, I dare you, take any team, the last 10 years, in this country and put their record "on the field" against BAMA, and let's see what the committee continues to see with the "eye test."

Bama may not deserve #2, I agree on that, but “eye test” and past years results mean you all will get the benefit of the doubt.

"eye test" should be enough. Just watch the games. How complicated is that?

They had to put bama at 2 because they know tide fans have trouble counting beyond that

except what actually happens on the field should matter.

Hypothetically, IF Auburn had one loss and bama had one loss. Auburn lost to A&M and bama lost to Oregon. Auburn was ranked higher in the playoff poll. How big of a fit would you be pitching right now?

You are asking that to a BAMA fan with the "Iron Bowl" coming up?

don't dance around the question and deflect. It's a simple question.......answer it.

How pissed would you be if a one loss Auburn, who lost to A&M, was ranked ahead of bama who lost to Oregon?

Then qualify when both teams are undefeated? Now or at the end of the season.

Losing out on the playoff has actually happened einstein. In 2013, had there been an actual 4 team playoff, Bama could have come out of Jordan Hare with that last-second loss and been ranked #4. In that it didn't happen until the next season, you learn to live with results.

You don't have to like anything. But this is the system and BAMA fans have lived through it more than most. And certainly have more experience than the barners longshots they throw up there every year.

I really don’t care the Bama is 2. They don’t really deserve it at this point, but it doesn’t matter. They win out they are in probably as #1. If they lose 1 more game they are out; outside of complete chaos.

I think Cinn should be in the top 4, because they have as good or better wins the Mich State, but. MSU plays OSU, whoever loses is done….

My problem, and it’s exciting for them; but no way M State and Wisconsin deserve to be in the top 25. Feels like they are there as tokens to prop up other teams resumes.

Miss State has 3 wins over teams in the top 25.
