Why Bryan Harsin believes the Boise State blueprint will work at Auburn

Read the article and decide if Harsin would be like Petersen or be like Hawkins. I think he would be more like Hawkins than Petersen. Hawkins flopped when he went to Colorado. Petersen did well at Washington. One other thing bothers me is How come Harsin didn't go to Washington after Petersen retired? I think Petersen knew he wasn't the right HC since he wasn't impressed with his overall record and he got blown out in Petersen's last game as a HC.

Don’t take this the wrong way, I think Harsin is a good coach, but I always felt he was supposed to get fired at Texas but got a coaching job, he was on okay OC in the Big 12, he had the top talent on paper in the state and struggled, that’s the only red flag I see

I don’t know about Boise, but at Auburn he’s going to have to compete with the big dogs in recruiting if he wants to have any shot at all. He’s not in Boise anymore. He’s in the most talented division of the best conference. The top teams in sec are the most talented teams. Auburn fans will tell you a lot of excuses on why they’ve had a slow start, but you don’t see this happening in Texas and they just got a new coach. As of right now I would be concerned.

I think he’s going to get demolished. Like Muschamp at SC style.

Auburn going to get blue and Orange turf?

The Auburn Creed, written in 1943, reaffirmed the morality Harsin developed during his 23 years as a player or coach at Boise State.
“A lot of the things in there are what we talked about at Boise and I had been apart of that for a long time,” he said. “I couldn’t stop thinking about it.”
Harsin was no longer just interested in Auburn. He needed Auburn.

The Boise State blueprint is to massively outspend the rest of your conference in facilities and recruiting. That's not going to happen at Auburn.

Harsin employed drink twice, so did Gus. If we made a bad hire, Mizzou is truly fricked. Your obsession with this subject is a little disturbing. Between that and your poor writing, I truly believe you are smack in the middle of the spectrum...with a touch of downs syndrome

By this logic, Saban since Saban hired Muschamp, Kiffin, Kirby, Sark etc, they will all have the same performance after.
That's some pretty dumb shite.
And then you insult someone else for their intelligence.

In the good old days. You could just call him a retarded mongoloid..
I miss those days.
Although, I would have added a 3 wheel bike riding waterhead for good measure.

You hired a shrimp boat captain with a losing record yet you still say that Harsin can't be successful?

There is no doubt that this site has way more posters on the spectrum than most. It’s weird that most with Downs Syndrome are very affable and kind and here they hate with such a fervor that is alarming

Kirby’s more successful at this point of his HC’ing career than Saban was. So……….

All talk from Harsin. If the croots don't start coming, fast, they are boned.

He’s concerned about culture, feelings etc and doing things like he did at Boise. Yea ok but he better assimilate to his surroundings and get folks on staff that can relate. Guy from Wisconsin, Bert, found that out the hard way.
