Our offense will be fine, but our defense will learn if they are truly men and tough or not, because Notre Dame is gonna damn sure punch them in the mouth and find out.

I feel confident we win, because I don't think they can stop us for 4 quarters. However, I'd be lying if I said I felt good about our defense manning up and playing sound, hard, physical, consistent football for those same 4 quarters.

I'd sure as hell love to come back in here and eat a big helping of crow though! Roll Tide.

Been thinking the same. They'll be able to commit to the run and take advantage of our linebackers and safties. Offensively, we'll be fine and I think Devonta takes one back on special teams.

ND has been hearing all about our last matchup; how overrated they are; their record in BCS/CFP games; etc.. They're absolutely going to give us all we can handle.

Ultimately, I think we'll pull away late, but it'll much closer than what most experts are predicting.

This might be a game where we will see Defense grow up....

I think it stays close for a quarter and a half or so then ND makes a couple of mistakes that open up the game. If they don’t force things and think they have to score every possession then they might keep it tight for longer but if book starts getting happy feet and tries to force throws then one turnover could be costly.

I've been feeling the same way and commented when a guy talked like we would just show up and win.

They aren't even my real worry, I think even if ND takes away our deep ball we can find a way to win.

My real worry is Clemson. They can really run it with their RB and QB. I really think we need Jaylen Waddle in that game.

Venrables will try to scheme us into some problems. To get Waddle to make it impossible to cover us would be perfect.

Day before, I'll place Notre Dame about 2nd or 3rd toughest game on our schedule.
Somewhere between Georgia, a ready to play Florida, and aTm.

They won't quit, they'll be well prepared and well coached, they'll play with heart and character...but it won't matter. They simply won't be able to score enough to keep up. We'll cover.

We’re gonna tear ‘em up.. we’re gonna rip ‘em up. We’re gonna shred ‘em up.

Seriously, ND does not have the type of offense that hurts us. Against normal offenses we are very good.

Notre Dame offensive line and Book's scrambling will allow them to drive at will.

Think we can force them to fgs... Assuming we don't turn it over feels like a 42-30 type game

I have no doubt the Irish will be tough. But I feel we pull away like the Texas A&M game.

It’s not Notre Dame we need to worry about - it’s Clemson. And thank God Oklahoma didn’t get the 4 seed

Agreed. Haven’t heard any talking from the ND players which lets me know they have their heads down and are saving it for the game.

Really confused by the amount of consternation amongst Bama fans for this game. I guess people are just nervous because it's the CFP? Since Ole Miss, Bama has played one bad half of football (and really just one terrible quarter).

Maybe this game is close in the first half, but Bama should absolutely pull away in the second half and win by a few TDs. The only way I see ND having a real chance is if Bama decided to play "SEC CG 3rd quarter" football for an entire game, and that's just not going to happen with this team.

Alabama has played 11 sec football games. I think the defense is who they are at this point, so I’m expecting confusion and wtf’s. The key to me is getting a couple of opportune stops and a couple of turnovers and hope the offense can build a lead.

I’ll say this, there is way too much “Notre Dame has no chance” talk out there for my liking. Most of the talking heads on ESPN are even saying it.
